What anime are you currently watching?

^_^ Opposite here, Scy. Tsunderes annoy the hell out of me. Sure, they can be fun, but after a while, the fun has worn off, and they are SO mainstream these days it's pathetic.

I like someone true to their feelings, a little naive about the world, and with trait that makes you want to pick on them. :3
It's prolly why I fall so in love with Fuuko and Ayu. The protagonists LOVED picking on them.

But often, it's the sickly ones that I end up loving the best, but I think that's just cause it strikes a personal cord with me :3

It's just my taste in real women rubbing off. And, yes, they're horribly mainstream.

But, really, they've pretty much run the entire gamut of types. I think wincest is the new tsundere though. Or it will be after Oreimo probably.

Rie Kugimiya ruined tsundere for all the other cats by playing the same character in damn near everything she was in.

However, I suppose she might as well have perfected the tsundere cliche.


Also, I still hate Tsukimiya Ayu.

Most of the characters have something that they say over and over and over again. Ayu's "ugu" was just overpopularized (much like Suiseiseki's "Desu desu desu")

Makoto says "Auuu", Shiori says "she hates" (uhh, it's better in context), Mai... doesn't say much of anything at all so she's out but she says Yuuichi's name a lot, Nayuki has several things that she oversays including but not excluded to "zzz...ohayo gozaimas..uuuuzzzzzz" "ichigo jamu daisuki"(the anime took this one out mostly because it does not have the day to day emphasis the VN has, therefore, you don't get the every single morning routine effect from Jan 7 to 2#th) and "fight-o daiyo"

Honestly, I get more irritated by Nayuku's repeated sayings than I ever do Ayu's. Every single morning.... the same damn thing.... YUUICHI, SHOVE THE FUCKING TOAST DOWN HER DAMN THROAT AND GET OUT THE DOOR AND ON TO SCHOOL!! *sigh*

Clannad does not have these familiar Key speech patterns in the anime (I can't speak for the VN since I've never played). I watched a little bit of Air and it seemed to have a few girls who had their sayings as well.

Also I don't get how people can be bothered by Ayu's "Uguu" but not irritated by Maria's "Uuu" ..... really? :[
