I just finished watching Tegami Bachi, and was pleasantly surprised in a big way. I had actually watched the first episode for the lolz after reading a synopsis of the series. I was thinking something along the lines of "an anime about postmen, lol wtf". However, to my surprise, it was really, really good.
The series is now my third favourite anime of all time, under Getbackers and FMA. It has great, moving music (so good in fact, that I've decided my next purchase will be the OST for this series) and a cast of interesting, deep characters. I actually cried watching episode 17 and almost cried again during the final scene in the last episode. I also get a nice warm feeling every time I see the second opening sequence.
The only thing I can say against it is that Niche is really annoying and there were a lot of moments where I thought that she ruined the feel of the show. If it wasn't for this, and the fact that some of the more standalone episodes weren't that good, this series could seriously contend with FMA for second place.
I really hope it get licensed (although, I think that would be highly unlikely) because I'd love to proudly display this great series on my shelf.

I just ordered the Tegami Bachi OST . I also got the Hatenaki Michi Limited Edition CD.
I plan on starting to watch Tegami Bachi REVERSE tonight and hopefully it will explain early on what the hell the deal is with [hide]"Noir" and Roda. I can guess with Gauche but I want to know why the fuck Roda is human now[/hide]. (spoilered for major final episode spoilers)

That's from Summer Wars. Grandma is a pretty cool character.
I just read over on ANN that Studio Ghibli's latest movie, Arietty, will be shown at a cinema in Amsterdam. I thought I'd be extravagant for once and go see it. Turns out the tickets were on sale since last month already and completely sold out.
