R+V isn't bad, per se ... predictable, sure but hey ... sometimes you just want some silly fanservicey-action. That said, the anime is over-the-top fanservice (UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE FOREVER) AND GONZO decided, in normal GONZO fashion, that they're better than the source material and strayed from it as far as fucking possible.

All of these are major fucking spoilers. Seriously.

Manga plot spoilers
[spoiler]I guess Tsukune becoming a flesh-devouring Ghoul due to Moka is too "dark" and "creepy" for the target audience. It really shows SOMETHING for him as far as I'm concerned... at least better than the pussy he is in the Anime (which the Manga shows OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER that he despises and does everything he can, even to the point of selling his humanity, to overcome).[/spoiler]

That said, I'll probably watch R+V Capu 2 if only for Nana Mizuki (Moka). And Rie Kugimiya (Mizore) I guess, though she doesn't say much

Anyway, they removed a lot of stuff; a main reoccurring villain is dropped as well as a pretty big scene from CHAPTER FUCKING 6. Also, they decided that Volume 3 will end completely differently (and jumped straight to Capu 2's plot ... which means v4-10 don't occur barring Ruby). What the fuck.

CONFESSION. CHAPTER 6. WHAT. The entire events here (his birthday!) do not occur if I recall. Stupid. This is also the introduction of a main villain.[/spoiler]

Another omission which alters a lot (ie, the END of Capu 1) is Tsukune talking to his mother (I think they don't talk about the PHONES that exist). Seriously ... it's a nice Tsukune x Moka thing at the end of Capu 1:
