Congrats, now there will be even less Berserk this year.

I still fail to see how Ikuhara is involved with this, to be honest.

Bones.

In other news, I forgot about Higurashi Kira.

Watched the first 5 or so episodes of Darker than Black

...Both arcs were depressing

Darker Than Black is awesome (4 episodes if you only got through two arcs, but yeah they are kind of depressing at times...). A bit sad that the second season was quite the departure from it but, eh, it was still alright.

Also, obligatory link every time DtB is mentioned:

Magical Girls?

I clearly saw a different Darker than Black 2.
Yeah, Hei gets depowered pretty early on so it's more of a long arc about Suou than anything else. Magical Girls is a stretch, though ... Suou is a sniper and Hei doesn't stop being Hei, he just stops shocking people.
The hype engine behind Mawaru Penguindrum is ridiculous. I mean, it is Ikuhara (Utena) who's basically been gone since ... well, Utena. Seriously, I think his most recent work was the OP for Aoi Hana so, yeah.

Edit2: Penguindrum seems to have a massive lack of a PV that isn't those 20s teasers. So, that out of the way, here's the most recent one ... except the video apparently fails to exist right now~
I also still have no idea what the title means.
Edit: Forgot, Junichi Sato (Edit: Sailor Moon, since I just realized that like Ikuhara above, some of you may be normal and not [s]stalk[/s]watch these people from the bushes) has a new series too: Ikoku Meiro no Croisée. Well, sort of. Supervising the story and soundtrack. Which is probably for the best since Satelight is involved.

Incidentally, Nichijou may be the new standard for terrible sales with something like 3.5k total (2.6k BR/900 DVD). Actually, no there's still Fractale*. To be fair, while it was ... an interesting diversion, it honestly wasn't that notable. Though, KyoAni attached to it makes me wonder if it would have done better or worse if someone else was behind it.

Reminds me I need to watch both seasons of K-On still; "mono no aware" gets thrown around a lot for s2 which makes me super fucking curious since that's uh ... not precisely the term expected for K-On. Could be the internet hype engine (K-On GAF *shakefist*) but I trust some of them to not fuck with me.

I also just realized that iM@S is the highest production show of the season. I'm ... I'm not to sure how I feel about this.

Edit: Teehee, it's Clamp being Clamp except now with vampires and schoolgirls with katanas. Mind you, I actually never saw Blood+ (well, I got like 13 or so episodes in before I /bored and left ... apparently an episode or two before it picked up) or really anything else in Blood-related.
Watching it anyway, if only so I can comprehend why Miura will be on hiatus this season.

No, seriously, it's a unit of measurement:

I don't know. I only know the bare bones plot synopsis of most of them. But I'm going to have to go with a resounding: No, mostly likely not, though it depends on what you're looking for when you say "similar to Kuragehime."

Edit: Wait, year, not season?

I wish J.C. Staff didn't have Kami-sama no memo-chou, if only because it's a NEET detective story. But ... it's J.C. Staff. :|

I should probably state I actually haven't seen Kuragehime, I'm just familiar with the "BAIL OUT" gif and the basic premise. I've got like 2 years of anime to catch up on and it's in there somewhere.

Speaking of Gosick, Ikoku Meiro no Croisée's creator is the artist of Gosick (Hinata Takeda).
