MOODWHIPLASHED. Existential crisis, "life is boring", coming of age story. I feel bad for Ko-chan who I bet will NEVER BE SEEN AGAIN. Anyway, didn't think this be a drama thing. Expected cute slice of life, not ... whatever this will end up being. Primary being how bad I feel for Ohana t.t And how much this could lead into a Narutaru "oh shit, everybody dies" situation.

Also, bitches be getting slapped. Gives me a sense of Skip Beat if Kyoko had stayed at the Inn in Kyoto. That's what I get from this.

noodles, I think you might like it. Gut feeling, dunno. Basically, coming of age, finding one's purpose, and stuff like that motif.

I recently started watching an excellent anime called One Outs. In a nutshell it is Death Note/Code Geass except with baseball instead of detectives and mechs. The basic premise is that the main character, Tokuchi Toua, signs up with a professional baseball team as a pitcher, but with a unique contract: he earns 5,000,000 yen for every out he pitches and loses 50,000,000 yen for every run he gives up.

At least as far as I've seen, the whole series revolves around the Tokuchi outsmarting and manipulating the crap out of everyone. My initial expectations were quite low after hearing this, I mean it's baseball there really isn't much he could do. I was greatly mistaken. I won't mention any of his plans here, as they really are the whole fun of the show, but trust me when I say he pulls some awesome stuff.

Basically, if you enjoyed watching Raito/Lelouch schemeing, you'll enjoy One Outs.

Hanasaku Iroha 2 aka She's going to kill someone by episode 4.
