A bunch of shows ending, new season beginning, yadda yadda yadda.
So:
lol, Jiro, hand in your dude card.
Saya failed to save us all
idoru gonna two cour
datPenguin two cour
No.6 yaoiyaoiyaoiyaoi
Saya failed to save us all
Hanasaku Iroha didn't shit itself
Kamimemo finished strong, loliNEET and all
Steins;Gate SERN DkPepper IBN Goodle
Usagi Drop gonna be all sweet and shit and heartwarming
Saya failed to save us all
Looking forward to Guilty Crown and Senjou no Horizon saving anime and to be angry that Boku no Tomodachi ga Sukunai became fanservice over comedy/harem. Mirai Nikki better not have the very special ending, P4 probably going to suck, Fate/Zero is either lolNasu or lolufotable, Chihayafuru has a shot of being the only decent thing, Maken-Ki is seriously why is Takeda Hiromitsu doing a ... "normal" ... anime?, and who the fuck greenlit Ben-To.
And some yaoiyaoiyaoiyaoiyaoi on like five shows.

I forgot a lot of stuff, if we want to get nitpicky. Stuff I'll actually watch (Last Exile, Shana Final), stuff I don't care about really (Gundam AGE, C3, Bakuman s2), and so-on. Tamayura doesn't look like anything I'd enjoy, honestly; I'll give it a few episodes and/or word of mouth but it's not anything on my current highlight reel.
Not that being on the highlight reel is a good thing.
As far as I know, it's Junichi Sato doing another "healing anime" except with photography; the OVAs were supposedly good but it doesn't seem like my kind of show (slice of life I dislike, typically). But, at the same time, it's Junichi Sato so if it's paced well, cast is alright, and it carries itself well, then I'll probably watch it throughout.

I stand by my statement that I feel like you'd enjoy Hanasaku Iroha.
Re-posting my Episode 1 thoughts:
HanaIro 1
Oh, school romcom. I see.
...
MOODWHIPLASHED. Existential crisis, "life is boring", coming of age story. I feel bad for Ko-chan who I bet will NEVER BE SEEN AGAIN. Anyway, didn't think this be a drama thing. Expected cute slice of life, not ... whatever this will end up being. Primary being how bad I feel for Ohana t.t And how much this could lead into a Narutaru "oh shit, everybody dies" situation.
Also, bitches be getting slapped. Gives me a sense of Skip Beat if Kyoko had stayed at the Inn in Kyoto. That's what I get from this.
And some extra stuff since I'm actually re-watching it: Hanasaku Iroha is rather well done in the execution and direction; the pacing flows rather well and the "worst" thing that really happens is some Deus Ex Ohana, and even then it's less "GOOD THING HUH" and more "They went with that?" kind of thing.
The short of it is that the story follows Ohana as her life goes from drab and dreary; a life with no excitement with her merely going along with whatever comes. The only person in her life, really, is the embodiment of this dull existence she leads. Day starts, day happens, day ends. Her only certainty is the lack of certainty.
And, thus, we tear her from it. We tear her from the safety she has always had. We tear her from the life she doesn't want and give her what she asks for. A life that is the opposite of what she has always known. And yet...
And we're best at ignoring some of my struck out commentary. Except the dead people. There's always dead people.
HanaIro easily stands as probably my favorite anime from the Spring - Summer block. Steins;Gate is going well so maybe that will usurp it but, for the time being, HanaIro was wonderful.
...of course, if you're looking for something that's been dubbed, then I got nothing.

Medaka Box anime greenlit. I'm waiting for the manga to respond to that with eager anticipation.
It may be split into two cours too? Might be an entire year of NisiOisiN? Dear lord...

I am eagerly waiting for bakuman second season. Been reading the manga and I find it interesting on how it is shonen style in an unusual way. Battles taking place over comics rather then brawls. It is also interesting to see a view into how Japanese comics are made. While it is an overly glossed view I know.
watching angelic layer myself. I love it when clamp makes something I like. I find their artstyle charming.

Look. Just ... just don't find any impressions of the episode anywhere. Go in fresh. Determine whether or not you like the events on your own.
No, but seriously. This is spoilers. Don't read it until you watch the episode. Seriously.

I guess we don't really have an appropriate thread for this, so I'll put it here:
I'm cosplaying to NekoCon and have roped a friend into helping me make my costume.
My costume?
Fuck yeah.
My friend's a professional mask-maker. I figure once I have that done it's all downhill.
