What anime are you currently watching?

It always puzzles me that N-Americans don't have DVD players that are either region-free or easily switched to region-free. Those are definitely the popular ones over here. Who wants a player that doesn't play imported DVDs when most entertainment is made in other parts of the world?

So lastnight, after being in a chatroom with someone who reacted to it while watching it, I decided to watch the two episodes of Sekai Seifuku ~ Boryaku no Zvezda (aka World Conquest: Zvezda Plot). This anime is absolutely amazing from the first two episodes, and I'm really excited to see where it's gonna go.

I've almost finished watching the episodes from 2010 of Seitokai Yakuindomo, currently in the middle of the OVAs. It's funny how I much prefer the non-perverts over the perverts in it, though I guess it has to do with it being a bit too overstimulating with 98% of the cast being perverts in one way or another.

Just watched the third episode of Zvezda, and the anime is getting better with each episode. I have really high hopes for this anime, and from what's been done so far, I defonitely would suggest it to people.

So apparently Studio Ghibli is gonna do a TV series based on Astrid Lindgren's Ronja Röverdotter (Ronja the Robber's Daughter) and I'm actually kind of excited! Ronja was my favorite Astrid character as a kid and I really enjoyed watching it. So seeing a Studio Ghibli version of it will be quite interesting. It is set to start airing in Japan on August 31.

Yeah, it's not so much of me watching anything, but hey, it's the best place to talk about it.
