Ooh, I've been meaning to do that sometime too! I haven't seen it for a long time, but I remember really liking it the first time I saw it.

Earlier this week I finally finished with Sailor Moon. It took me 3½ months to get through five seasons. The fourth (SuperS) especially dragged. I watched SM mostly because about 2/3 of the people in my Twitter feed are huge fans apparently and I wanted to know what all the hype was about. In the end it was largely enjoyable, but not as good as later magical girl anime in some aspects.

Now it's back to my regular huge backlog of anime. At the moment I have Mardock Scramble, Angel Beats, Wolf Children and Michiko & Hatchin ready to watch, and several seasons of PreCure for when my magical girl interests recover from the recent overload.

I really, really disliked Angel Beats myself. Michiko & Hatchin is supposed to be fantastic though.

I remember Angel Beats. I liked the serious/sweet moments. The rest of it was shit. Which is sad considering the animation and the music were beautiful. I did my very best to like it. The comedic moments just killed it.

I thought Angel Beats was okay, but was not something I would particularly recommend to people.

Angel Beats turned out to be pretty good. I'd recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.

I just finished Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann the other day, and it was absolutely fantastic. I started on Baccano! just a little while ago too, and it's thoroughly confusing, yet interesting.

Found out that Log Horizon is based on a light novel by the same author as Maoyuu, which makes a lot of sense actually.

Hoozuki no Reitetsu is refreshing and hilarious as Hell. And it makes me want to read the manga, if you're into Japanese folklore go for it :3
