Skip Beat! is pretty interesting though the Sho stuff stays around for awhile ... but his influence is FAR less noticeable soon than it is right now. Kyoko's entering the BIZ is filled with Sho so it does seem kind of ... unhealthy obsessive. Episode 6 starts the first acting part and Sho will disappear for awhile.
The set-up for entering the buisness (and the pre-Ruriko LOVE ME stuff) is pretty slow though. Though, manga wise, it was only like 2 volumes so ... yeah. Chihiro just got out to Episode 6 though if you're the patient sort, Ureshii-Yoroshiku has the better quality stuff (complete with Karaoke! >>).
I will say the Maria bit (after the Ruriko stuff) is probably my favorite bit of Kyoko acting. At least pre-current Manga arc stuff.
At least until her part in his PV which is more of a making Sho realize things about Kyoko than the other way.
I will say that he disappears for a few volumes at a time after the PV; I don't think he makes another appearance really until the [s]Vie Ghoul[/s] Beagles arc.
@Index ... dunno. It's pretty typical and Episode 6 states it best: The first 6 episodes are just the overly long prologue to set everything up. From what I know of the series, the stuff coming up is vastly different than what has happened (though, yeah, it's still peppered with action-y scenes).
Really, I just want to see if I'm on the mark with Shirai being oh-so-totally-gay for Misaka. That or if they'll cover the Side Story: Toaru Kagaku no Railgun since Misaka is pretty interesting ... if only for RAILGUN.

I'm totally addicted to Skip Beat and have watched all the episodes currently released.
XD The 6th episode was SO fun and I was pissed that they cut off where they did. It's one of those animes where each of the episodes seem WAY too short, even though it's the same apprx 25mins of any other anime.
.....
I want eppy 7...
The "Love Me" stuff is just pure golden, though, and I'm seriously enjoying it. I also felt that the whole "inner-spirit" stuff was way over the top but ep5 and 6 definitely made me appreciate it a LOT more. It's one of those series that is just growing on me, I think.

Love Me
The section disappears for awhile after like ... Volume 8 or something. Until recently, that is. Was a bit weird to me, personally, though it was done pretty well. Just when I realized, "oh, hey, she hasn't done Love Me in awhile..." and then BAM it happened.
I haven't seen Episode 6 yet (BUSY~) of both Skip Beat! and Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka. Makes me sad. I need to catch up >>
Also need to watch Index 7 >>.
