What anime are you currently watching?

I don't mind the loli-vibe it was just the ONLY thing I was told about why StrikerS is terrible: "NANOHA ISN'T LOLI ANYMORE!!!" I have NO IDEA of anything in the 3rd season ... except that I <3 Fate. Still.

Apparently Nanoha does something incredibly awesome in StrikerS that completely and utterly takes the villain off guard, and proves she's the most bad ass person in the series. That mostly, besides that the season kinda dragged on.

ACTUALLY, when I read the last chapter of the manga, 'cause I heard it was pretty shitty, it was such a "lol cliffhanger" ending that just screamed "HOPEFULLY TO BE CONTINUED."

I haven't read any of the chapters before it so I wasn't really sure what was going on and I haven't read the newer chapters since its switch over.

Finished Akane-iro ni Somaru Saku. I have to say ... I couldn't shake the thought of "NICE BOAT END?! SOMEONE HAS TO DIE! KILL SOMEBODY OH GOD" for the final two episodes >>. School Days has forever ruined the genre for me...

[spoiler]That said ... Episode 11: "I will be making love with Nagase Junichi" ... wait, what? WHAT? HOORAY!

And then Episode 12 ends with HOORAY WINCEST. Except not (as in they're not actually related!) but whatever, I suppose. They still lead you to believe otherwise (barring Minato's earlier confession about that) but ... whatever, I suppose. I still like Yuuhi more ... and the series pretty much points at those two the ENTIRE TIME with a few "oh look, Junichi is gawking at his sister" moments.

Also, why the fuck did they randomly ramp up the fanservice at the end? Out of nowhere there's camera angles that exist solely for cleavage and ass (no, seriously, Junichi is speaking but the camera is RIGHT BEHIND HIS SISTER'S ASS). Did I somehow mix this up with Kankon?

Oh well. Wincest ending and I'm a little sad that it wasn't Yuuhi (tsundere + voice!). Guess the "childhood" romance + "forbidden" romance wins out. Also, bigger breasts.[/spoiler]

Edit: Shugo Chara's trap still makes me ... well ... yeah.

[spoiler]No but seriously ... it's targetted for really young audiences, right? If so ... what the fuck is with the brother x sister relationship (well, one-sided!) and the trap (Nadeshiko!)? And potentially pedo depending on Ikuto's age >>[/spoiler]

Okay, a lot of it doesn't actually look that interesting >>. A few harem shows I'll pick up just for the sake of having them (Akikan and Asu no Yoichi). Maybe Druaga, though I still need to watch the first, and White Album ... probably watching Kurokami and Chrome Shelled Regios too. Iffy on the next Sunrise Mecha and Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai (christ long enough title?) and Ride Back. Huh, maybe I'll end up watching more than expected...



Edit: Incidentally, Umineko no Naku Koro ni is slotted for '09, isn't it? Hopefully Spring or Summer I suppose ... I mean, they are doing the Higurashi OVA now so ... maybe?
