...that said, I do think they randomly raised Maria's (and Saki's!) bust size for this episode. Then again, when they start the episode with a comment of beach episode for fanservice despite it being winter ...

Oh well. Think it hit a lot of the cast actually. Even some of the loli-ish cast (Hinagiku~ Isumi~).
[spoiler]Hina fanservice ... haha. She'll never catch a break if I remember the v6+ plotlines (especially since they did skip to the birthday plot already ...)
Though who the hell were the two he ran in on before her? I don't recall them ... though it has been awhile since I watched/read Hayate.[/spoiler]

Blassreiter is great. I'm not a fan of action but I looooove the drama. I've cried many times watching that series and I just so happen to plan on watching it again soon!

I do like the random shot of Keita's [s]tramp stamp[/s] hand brand that glows wildly and "KUUUUUUURO" shouting with a pose ... for no apparent reason. And by liked I mean laughed at and was confused at the purpose of it. Maybe it's explained later.
I also now give Akane two episodes to live.
For my limited knowledge of the source material, Keita is supposed to be a computer programmer, right? Also, he's supposed to be a cock fuck, not this kind of wangsty guy. He at least takes the whole "dying" thing better so far. [s]Yuuji[/s] He's not so bad though so .... alright. Interested enough to watch the rest of the series and to then find the source material so I can be confused a lot by the things changed. HOORAY.[/spoiler]

Watched the first episode of Tower of DRUAGA once again, uploaded by Gonzo themselves. The best first episode of anything EVER. It makes fun of more clichés than you can shake a stick at it!.. too bad the rest of the series sucked. :(

:P Reminds me of that time Kittyhawk of found out there was a Japanese show that possibly copied her work, as unlikely as it is. Same character names, premise and everything! I wish I could find the original post.
Of course this case is different in that it's an adaption and not copying, though there are a lot of stories featuring such a situation.
