Nothing looks seriously appealing, though. I mean, SaW2 looks like the only title up there with a "serious" storyline (if you can call a talking wolf and a traveling merchant serious).

o.O No Umineko no Naku Koro ni? I'm hoping it'll at least be more complicated than Higurashi (and it should, as that's the point) in terms of solving things.

[spoiler]Recently got a friend interested into Higurashi (with some of the manga shots of dead Rika ... this says a lot about people I know). In hindsight, kind of sad at how easy some of the arcs are to solve; well, hindsight and having the friend figure out to true villain after two fucking arcs (or at least narrowed it down to two people).

Then again, same friend went through Liar Game and solved pretty much every Round trick (even guessed the fucking Xanatos Machinegun Gambit bullshit at the end of Round 3) so ... yeah. If he gets the RR2 trick (the set-up, not the trick itself) I'll go insane.

But yeah, I'd rather try to solve "impossible murders and their motives" as opposed to just the motives.[/spoiler]

Only like four series (Cobra, Element Hunters, Hetalia 2, and Ukkari; I guess Zetsubou too since I haven't seen the last few seasons) don't interest me at least a little. But, to be honest, I'm not that picky (or, rather, basically any premise is somewhat interesting) in regards to what I start watching. I just nitpick at the end (or middle if it's bad enough to make me stop watching).

Not a big surprise after the whole flashback arc with Nagi and her ... however, Asuna is one of the Princesses, isn't she? That means she's the sister of Arika ... which makes her Negi's Aunt. I'm oh so totally pro-NegixAsuna so ... wat. Though, Chisame has slowly been replacing Asuna as the "girl beside Negi" >>

The fight with Rakan (<3 Theo, just a random aside~ Her and Rakan are cute together) was interesting and with enough trickeries throughout it, though they weren't all that hard to guess to happen. Seriously, Negi gets taught a style that involves absorbing attacks to increase his own strength and throughout the fight with Rakan they keep pointing out he's too weak ... who the fuck can't guess he'll absorb his attack (especially with the whole "LET'S GO ALL OUT" declaration) to compensate? Still, an awesome fight.

Now, can Fate die already or something? Seriously, I'm fucking confused now thanks to the introduction of powerlevels and them randomly bouncing up (okay Negi, you're now 2000 and Fate is oyea 3000 was lowball he's really 8000 and btw that Kage dude that fucked your shit up is probably 3000+ not 700 lololol) but ... what the flying fuck.

I do like how they keep referring to Rakan as being totally broken and that he must be using cheats to be that strong.

Also, did Zect die in the fight with the mastermind behind Fate (waaay back in Chapter 232-234)? Him and Nagi fight it off but only Nagi is shown coming back and there's no mention of Zect dying. He just kind of seems to get written out o.O[/spoiler]

the first tournament was great, but do you think negima is turning into dumb shit RARGH FIGHTING TOURNAMENT with filler stuff in between

Meh, I quite like it, to be honest. It keeps up the light hearted feel even through the fights so it isn't that big of a deal personally ... plus there's like 70 chapters from 160 - 253 that have no all-out fighting.

[spoiler]For what it's worth, the tournament consists of them merely being shown in a few panels every couple of chapters wtfowning the competition until the Final Round. It isn't like the School Tournament where it was back-to-back multiple chapter fights.[/spoiler]

It isn't what first comes to mind when you say mahou shoujo from I can tell (magical girl adventure, I guess? as opposed to the VILLAIN OF THE WEEK variety) though it does have transformation scenes according to the PV~ To be honest, I have no idea.
