Different strokes etc. etc. Ikki Tousen is shameless fanservice-y action and, hell, sometimes that's all it takes.
In other news, Umineko no Naku Koro ni (Volume 1) has me slightly terrified of a 9 year old girl. Also, uu~uu.
Okay, not really terrified so much as "...she's kind of creepy" going through my head. Not a thought one should have about a little girl I'd say >>
A part of me wants to say Maria will end up somehow being thought of being the killer; her or Natsuhi (Jessica makes more sense, actually). Both seem like red herrings though. Kyrie is another choice, I suppose, with the whole "what if there isn't 19 people but 18 with one person pretending to be two?" revelation (...okay, more of a "if you didn't think this by now you should give up on this series as you're probably too dumb to continue" than a revelation) but, again, a red herring. Or misdirection? Overthinking bah.
Or, perhaps, this is the lone exception to the "game", since it does occur before Battler's battle with Beatrice begins, and Beatrice does play a part in the murders. I wonder if I can get my hands on Volume 2 prior to the show airing in three weeks. Hrm.
Maria is adorable though. Jessica as well, as the apparent tsundere of the series. The rest of the family can die in a fire (and probably will~) for all I care. Well, Battler is interesting, if only for the fact he has a backbone ... but we'll see if that holds true once bodies begin popping up.
