My comments from : "Came across this while shopping online for anime.
Hmm. Well, good thing I'm watching it before buying. Even at the few $ it's going for this isn't really worth watching more than once. Not that it's bad, just rather unremarkable kids comedy."
It's mostly about Urd and Skuld getting their rat friend Gan-chan in trouble. Belldandy doesn't really play much of a role in the antics. 48 eps. of about 5 min. each (plus two minutes OP/ED). It's available cheaply from most anime stores (4 DVDs @ a few $ each). Recommended if you want to keep some kids distracted for a little while.

Game 2 END
...but I won't bother an epiclongwriteup since they're not read at all and I'm the only one watching these as they air. I will say this:
YUIMODEUS, KANON BEAM SABER, SPINMIOSATAN / GIGA SATAN BREAKER, ZOMBIE KANON, SHANNON BEAM SHIELD, ROSA MUSOU(cutshort), ROSA IS HUNGRY.
Game 2's END is such a misleading series of events, though, especially with the absence of Battler's "I'M FUCKING WASTED MAN" to explain why he saw magic. Oh well, Game 3 START now that we have Beato, Bern-chan, and λδ in play ... and λδ didn't even try to hide the Miyoko in her voice >>.
Also, that shot is from Game 3/Episode 12. Young Beato is <3.
Or I can start watching them now.
Episode 8
Red text rule = win. I love this game they have going on and their "pauses" XD.
Um... holy shit, though, that stuff with Kanon was just korny as hell... why was I reminded of Chaos;Head? I didn't like it. I HATED it.
>_< But worse than that.. WHAT THE FUCK WAS UP WITH THE CENSORING?!?!?!
Episode 9:
Seemed to revolve around the whole "closed room" problem. How to get around it.
Five Master keys. Shanon has one of them and her own.
Question: none of the servants reached into their pockets to check to see if they had their keys still on them.
And MIA/unaccounted for/not with the group is Beatrice, Kanon, and Kinzo.
No hidden doors, no trick to the door, the door is the only way in and out of the room.
This one has me stumped. I even considered the possibility, maybe they/Jessica only (since it is only jessica they find) were killed and entered the room locking it behind them to get away, but there's a few holes in that possibility. The first of which being a trail of blood. And considering where she landed on the floor, her key is laying clear across the other side of the room on her nightstand. Unless maybe she answered the door thinking it was Kanon, got stabbed, locked out the culprit and died?
I move on to eppy 10.

Game 2 End
I don't think a line of "I'm drunk" could salvage the anger I feel for Battler right now or how terribly that game went.
HE DIDN'T TRY TO SOLVE ANYTHING OR REASON ANYTHING OUT AT ALL!! All he did was give up hardly midway when he couldn't figure out the closed rooms and just sobbed the entire time into Maria's shoulder!
The end played off more of a: "Bah! I reject what I said earlier. Let's try again because I was impressed by my Auntie who should more willingness to fight than I did this entire game!"
I'm so angry about it that I got a certain sense of satisfaction out of what happened to him. >_< Jesus! My paragraph of reasoning for Jessica's room was more than Battler did!!
<_< But this whole particular arc just sucked. I didn't like the Di-Sword or Beam Shield that Shannon and Kannon suddenly whipped out.
I'm very disappointed with Umineko right now.
Concerning Umineko:
I didn't think it was that bad. But, then again, I don't view it in a "oooh what happened I MUST FORMULATE A HYPOTHESIS" way, but in a "I'm just watching it to see how things turn out" way.
And I don't get all the Rosa hate some people have. Yes, she goes overboard too much when it comes to punishment. But other than the second episode, there wasn't that much beating. Rosa's one of my favorite adults...next to Eva. I hated Natsuhi with a passion. She was too noble. Bitchy, cunning females are fa more interesting.
As for the game's end, I suppose Battler gave up since Beatrice obviously existed as a guest and really couldn't be denied. In the first arc, he wasn't completely anti-Beatrice. Maria noted that he believed in her when out of a realistic explanation, but didn't when he could explain what happened. I think.
Though the battle butler thing was a bit overplayed. And as for the mosaic, I wouldn't mind seeing candy-filled intestines, but I do admit watching Kanon stick his finger in his wound would make me feel uneasy (although the noise of it would be more unsettling). And the two deaths that occurred afterward...was it really necessary to censor that?
On a totally related note, I'm torn between Beatrice/Battler and Battler/Maria. I would not mind Kinzo/Battler, however.
And who were those goats in the dresses? Not counting Bern (I forget her full name), of course. They just seemed kinda...there.
Umineko
Battler doesn't give up in Game 2. Piece Battler does but he's a separate entity from Meta Battler. Don't mix them up. The one that needs to surrender is Meta Battler and the game revolves around him, not the ones on the Game Board.
Kanon Beam Saber / Shannon Beam Shield aren't real so don't think too hard about them. The female goat was, for some reason, λδ based off her dress.
Also, Beatrice did not exist as a guest for Game 2. If you believe so, re-watch as it clearly went over your head.
The purpose of Game 2 is that Meta Battler has grown and is willing to suspect his family for the murders. That is why it exists. Beatrice places "herself" as a piece to cement the fact that you must believe one of two things: Beato did it or the family did. There's no other options.
Game 1, to contrast, Battler suspected Beatrice if and only if he had to do so to not blame a family member. He carried that mentality into Game 2 but, by the end, he comes to the realization that there is one truth: one of his family (or the servants) is doing the deed if he does not wish to believe that Beatrice's magic is killing people.

ps, Kinzo is dead before the Game begins. He is not unaccounted for and is not a suspect.
...okay, using Red is a bit strong here but "durdurdur" Kinzo is dead already don't think too hard about him.
Edit: Also, there's quite a bit missing from this arc, notably Meta Battler being a badass at the end (slamming Beato's face into a table~).

In response to Maxine:
[s]Oh, yes. That. Interestingly enough, that's why I like Rosa. I forgot most of the stuff Maria said, since I was more preoccupied with her rolling on the plate.
Even if he was anti-Beatrice, he still was intrigued by her or at least asked about her on at least one occasion, if only to learn about the family history. I'm trying to think of a reason he gave up in the middle. The only thing I can think of is that he was intimidated by Rosa or something and all of her accusations of everything that moved. And it's always possible Battler could think Beatrice existed, but just not as a witch but as a normal person turned into a magical figure by Kinzo, but that's unlikely.
And maybe the goats in dresses are just gay? Some of the goats need to be, at any rate.[/s]
Nevermind, Scy happened.

For the record, for all the shit I give Umineko's pacing, it's far better than Higurashi (though omitting a few death confirmations was silly). Plus, there's the red text of You [Battler] are incompetent that was omitted too if you feel he's (Meta-Battler) not up to snuff.
Just be glad they didn't pull a Higurashi and re-write an arc, adjust a few deaths, and drop pivotal information (Anime Higurashi is far less solveable than Game Higurashi) for ... no apparent reason.
Notably the missing Credit Roll that tells you Game 1 ends in tragedy (everyone dies, Hinamizawa disaster) but Game 2 does not (also, Shion murders Rika, Rika does NOT suicide) and that's a pivotal piece for solving the puzzle (Rika's death triggers the Disaster, but JUST her dying does not).
At least the only thing we're missing in Game 2 is Kanon confirmation in Red, Genji's death in Red, and some Battler theories for the locked rooms, though the game is totally one-sided (as Bern-chan notes) which is why it should appear that Magic is the only explanation. That was the GOAL of the arc.
ps, Back Rank Mate has significance in meaning.
