I learned that SE is making yet another FFXIII game.


I laughed my ass off. Truly made my day.

They haven't made any Final Fantasy titles that have interested me since VIII, and to a lesser extent IX and X, all of which came out before the merger. Final Fantasy is SE's cash cow. Its a guaranteed seller. They don't have to make original or compelling Final Fantasy games because FF fanboys will always buy them. This isn't to say that SE makes unplayable/bad games, just that the Final Fantasy series hasn't really struck me as interesting in a long, long time.

I liked FFXII. Particularly after I started thinking of Balthier as the protagonist. (He really is the leading man.) Might have something to do with the battle system reminding me of programming, though.

I honestly think this in general, even with the older games. I just enjoy them more. And DQIX is one of my top 5 I think.

Never really got all the DQIX raving. I mean it was fun, but not that fun.

I suckered a buddy into buying it and the multiplayer made it super fun

Spoke with the old friends I RPed with back when I was just getting started (we've known each other since we were all 12-15 years old). And let me tell you, they reminded me of why I fear girl scouts... xD

They are too cute to say no to. And yet, when you do, I feel like they are internally wanting to rip my face off.

Seeing as most, if not all of my time when I was younger was dedicated to playing Lego Island 2, I must say 9 year old me would have the biggest boner if he knew I was working at a pizza joint.
