Dried fruits are nice also! I mostly prefer fresh, though.

I've only ever played IX, so I'm in no position to judge the series, but I've also never played most of the good Final Fantasies either.

I've only played I, II, III, about 1/2 of IV, the first five minutes of VI, up to the in VII, the first hour of X, XIII and XIII-2.

Been meaning to play DQ VIII sometime though.

Although I consider myself an FF guy, I haven't played most of the FF series, either. I don't know which ones you consider to be the good ones. For me it's 4, 5 and 6. I pretty much just mindlessly hate all the polygon-era FF installments without having played them (except maybe 7 and 9), which is probably kind of unfair, but I got put off by the ever-increasing... I dunno what to call it... trendiness/poppiness/x-japanness. And the online FFs are right out, because I don't do MMORPGs and consider them to be glorified chat rooms.

Give me more FF4.

Yes, FF IX looked nice, and from what I've seen of it seems to be a refreshing break from EmoGacktVille. I've been meaning to play that one for ages.
