I don't think that either of them are using money on this.

Buying time on the botnet like I suggested would be doing just that, though.

Less stressed and frustrated by my internship, although I love what I do my mentor can be too pushy and tends to micromanage too much. But no big deal since I'll work with other colleagues, more open and nicer

I'm going to be a boring adult and side with Kimiko in this case. It sounds like a digital version of sending pizzas to the guys house (is that a thing anymore?). Could you not just talk to the guy and tell him to back off, or talk to your girlfriend about how its bothering you? You can block numbers in phones, you know.

I'd stop paying for your phone if you were my kid wasting my money on something like that.
