A lot of the computers in this home are kind of half personal, half... business? Anyways, I was able to secure some parts for some network-wide hardware updates. I figure I should have them all done by tonight or tomorrow, but one of the upgrades will be a much needed 128 GB SSD. Been waiting to reinstall TERA and stuff until then. ^~^

How is TERA? I tried a few times to install it, but it just randomly froze at server select. From what I hear, the boss battles aren't that interesting or hard, but there are a lot of them.
I've been playing RaiderZ, a game whose draw is boss battles, but there won't be any new bosses for a while, and for some reason I'm not motivated enough to learn the ones which are there anymore.

It is basically as action-oriented as MMORPGs get from what I have experienced. More emphasis on twitch than gear, but gear is still pretty important. Difference between godly gear and okay gear is about 25% damage/defence since gear crystals make the biggest difference, and those are fairly accessible.
Also, I cannot fathom who would say the boss battles are not hard. I can solo BAMs myself fairly easily, but that's because I am fairly twitchy and experienced. Most players typically form groups to kill bosses for greater efficiency. Which as far as field bosses (BAMs) are concerned, yeah that makes them easier, but those same players are spamming the LFG channel looking for 4 more players to make it easier when I can take them on by myself or with a friend before they get everyone together and going.
The dungeon bosses are fairly engaging. No one ever gets to just stand there and hit a rotation of keys without having to move or look out for their hide. It can be a bit unforgiving for those who have come from easy MMOs like World of WarCraft or Guild Wars 2. I would say it plays a lot like Monster Hunter, and since a fair amount of the development stuff is into that series it should come as no surprise.
I would say that, aside from the meh character/race design, I like the product a lot. It is a good game if your like Korean MMOs. If you are looking for a more varied quest system (basically "go here and kill this" 95% of the time up until level 60), characters who do not dress like hookers and epic dungeon raid with lots of players, there are certainly better games.

Those times when someone says something that catches you off-guard.
"Look at this photograph..."
And then I spend like the next three minutes laughing and no one else around us understands why.
Nickelback is just fun to hate I suppose.
Edit - Actually, I love them. While driving I asked to put them on and before I could even finish everyone was like "NO!"

It gets worse because the radio station where I used to work just LOVES this song. Everyone there hates Nickelback, and that's why it is funny when they come on. :)

2 hour conversation with girlfriend.
If I'm lucky, only 14 days until I get to see her again. (12 days until she gets home at any rate.)

I have never had so much oil, grease and dirt on me in my life. :)
Aside from the bruise on my arm, I do not mind these past few days.
