^_^ well... it's adults at work in a call center. The chance of them having a 3DS are slim to none and it's just driving to get there. I have more odds streetpassing at my current job - and I never have.

As for just playing... :\ I don't like the idea of changing myself just because of the people around me, but it's my sister's recommendation and she does make a good point about wanting to get promoted and moved into other areas. Appearances are everything sometimes. And more than being a gamer, I REALLY want to get into the department that codes websites. :3

x_x *sigh* I'm still tempted to just keep the damn thing in my car and go out on my break to play in my car. LOL, we'll see what sort of environment I'm in as I go along.

Seriously, though, I have a nook and a back log of books. ^_^ It's really not that big a deal. I'm just whining to whine.

And thanks everyone! I'm praying that I'm going to enjoy it. What I REALLY want is to get into the development department. But... :3 maybe I will be able to rub some elbows with people in the department.

I was able to convince them to bring all the left over food from today's funeral mass to a shelter. I hope it made for a nice treat.

Congratulations Maxine! As someone who has worked in a call centre, try and get the feel for the place first. If it's a chilled out place with people from all ages, so long as you're discreet you should be OK.

Sadly you're not wrong and in the corporate world you're judged on everything.

^_^ If leaving my 3DS at home means I make a good impression on the department that handles coding... meh, it's no contest. My sister is right. Let's keep it professional so that way they will feel comfortable about putting me with clients (or whatever they do).

Uhh, I couldn't care less about streetpassing. It's not going to happen. I drive from there and back - there's no huge crowds I'm passing and I do not expect anyone in that building to actually care about the games I'm interested in - maybe EA Madden or some shit like that.

If I took it - it would be to PLAY.

T-T I cried today leaving work. *sniffle*

Eight years and three months! *sniffles* <_<; So many memories. Many good. Many bad. A lot of my usual customers wished me well.

^_^ My boss thanked me and told me that if things don't work out - I always have a job here. He'll happily rehire me. I almost lost it hearing my hardass boss saying that. *sniffles* THANKS BOSS!! You'll always be my boss in my mind ^_^.

I have to wash my uniform and return it tomorrow. *Sigh* But today was the last time I'll ever stand on the other side of the counter.

It was odd today hearing him talking about things coming up in the future and thinking "oh... I no longer have to worry about that...." It was a very empty and confusing feeling.

Yesterday I got the contract for my job that I have to sit and sign. Hopefully going through it will get me all psyched up again. I'm feeling a massive hole in my heart at the moment.
