Also, I met a girl who is also a freshman at my bible college. Her favorite show is Chuck too and she loves singing and one of my favorite bands. The problem? There is only one freshman girl and about 15 freshmen dudes. This school is has ALWAYS been the other way around, every year. I was lured here under false pretenses. >:U

Haha it's a great group of people and we had by far the most mature and positive discussion about homosexuality I could ever have imagined from a group of Christians. This year is going to be good for me.

Edit: Oh and when we were packing up our camp site they gave away all the foods that would spoil eventually, I got 2L of milk, half a large bag of apples, a big hunk of cheese, and a ton of sliced ham. Could not be happier.

So, I had been wondering why my copy of SMT was taking so long to arrive from another store... Turns out my roommate got it for me for mah birthday. And I've never been happier not to have the original case artwork:

She really is. :3 And I love that her cat Isis plays fetch. She'll bring back what you've thrown and meow (read: catbegnoise) for you to throw it again. It's freaking adorable.

I managed to close like three or four issues today. That's more than I've usually been closing in a week.

Slow/Easy day at work, got a raise, internet's back up.... best day i've had in a while... I'm actually not all grumpy for once! woo!

Just checked my bank statments. My money-saving plan is working. Like, really well. O_O

@Maxine: Congrats on the first proper paycheck. While I got out of low wage work a while ago, I definitely remember the feeling. I get paid by the school district for the first time at the end of the month... It will be my first paycheck since June. Looking forward to having stuff like bed sheets again.
