Kinda bummed, but also was happy. My best friend from home was driving down the coast this last week, so he took a few extra hours and came in to Oakland. So we drank and played video games and ate terribly for a the last 2 days. Wonderful time, its nice to feel a little bit like things are normal for once. At the same time, I'm bummed that he left, and that I have a bunch of work to do.

I visited the Musée d'Orsay with my dad's coworkers (I got to know them when I was doing my internship), that was cool although we didn't have much time to extend the visit and talk more. And yes there was my mentor, cocky as always.

Then we went to a restaurant near the Seine river, it was good although there was a lot of food. That was nice to see everyone :3

Had to try and contain my laughter today when I discovered that one of my 14 year old students had "Je ne regrette" tattooed across her waist.
