I cannot express how much longer a three day weekend feels as a teacher than it ever did as a student. When you get used to working for 12 hours a day, the feeling you have on Saturday night that the weekend will never end is just fantastic.
Now, if my Thanksgiving break weren't set to be so God damn'd miserable and awkward, I'd be excited. But for now, this will do.

Last night I got to see Ari Shaffir do his stand-up routine at a comedy club here in Austin. Funny fellow. And I got to try a Midnight Special, which is Bulleit bourbon and ginger beer. Very good!

It was very delicious. :O And I'm not sure ginger beer counts as actual beer. It's a carbonated ginger flavored drink. A coworker of mine makes it at home and brings it to work with him for lunch breaks.

Just got back from school, I'm going to make some crepes and rest to compensate the shitty morning I had.

It's not a real beer, I promise! @-@ It's closer to ginger soda. Kind of like how root beer isn't a beer.
I'm happy today 'cause I bought groceries last night! Which means there's fooood and coffeeeeee.

Yeah, mixing real beer with stuff does sound pretty gross though. X.x
Now I want to try ginger beer by itself. My coworker just gave me his recipe and it sounds amaziiiing. And fun to make!
