What makes me happy today? I'll be able to go to judo practice for the second semester :3

So, these came into work today:

Displayed next to a mass market, or pocket size, paperback for scale. I seriously almost cried from joy.

Got out of my last class early. It's a class about learning how to teach, it's really a waste of time because it's all common knowledge, but the course is mandatory. Anyway, today two of my friends were up at the front talking and one of them brought up the term "wife beater" (like, the article of clothing) without thinking about it and a woman in the class got up and left in a hurry. The teacher flipped out at my friends, even though it was a misunderstanding. I left too because all my friends were gone and the class is unbearable without those guys to joke around with. There are courses I take seriously, but this one is honestly an hour per class that could be summed up in a 6 minute youtube video.

Anyway, extra free time woot woot. I feel bad for the lady who got upset, but it's not like my buddies were being malicious.

Harm is usually done unintentionally, but that doesn't absolve one from common sense and responsibility.

For sure, but the teacher taking several minutes of lesson time to yell at them for being horrible when it was clearly a misunderstanding was really crappy on her part.

I bought a bunch of stuff from ebay before new year, and now everything have finally arrived. Got my Pokémon XY promotional artbook, my Etrian Odyssey 1&2 artbook, my Duo from Mega Man 8 figure (still have to build him, but that's the entertaining part) and my whole bunch of Mega Man doujinshis came today. One of the comics was out of stock, so the people were super kind and sent me two much shorter ones as an apology. So nice.

I'm sure if this person had known it would offend someone else so much, he wouldn't have said it. Are you saying you still would?

I always preferred the term "muscle shirt" over "wife beater".

That's indeed my point. Those guys should have foreseen that a term like that could bring up nasty memories/anxiety for someone, and have avoided it. That's common sense.
Dismissing the response (from student and teacher) with an 'I intended no harm' is irresponsible. If your actions/words harm someone, own up, admit fault and apologize.

Okay so yesterday I bought two more parts to go along with my computer build.
An FX-6300, and a MSI 970A-G43 motherboard (that I plan selling in a few months probably), that got me pretty excited. Now I just need the case, the ram, and the GPU which I should get near the end of March.
Plan on getting the cooler and fans around June-ish.

Also won my first PayPal claim. I sold some guy a XBL 3 Month Card on eBay, he did a chargeback claiming his account got hacked a day or two I sent him the code and gave PayPal all the proof I had.

Of course they are going to apologize, and while I agree that they should be more mindful about what they say, someone is always going to be offended by something at some point. As long as you apologize and avoid offending them again there is no real harm done in my opinion. If it's not malicious and it doesn't happen again, of course.
