They're almost finished repaving Uptown. UGH finally. Those roads definitely needed repaving omg, especially around the north of Lake Calhoun.

BUT now they're gonna finish just in time for Minnesota Winter to kill us all, and then the plows are just gonna mulch up the freshly paved roads to hell again by the spring. GOOD JOB.

Someone showed me something I did whatever number of years ago and the dialogue made me laugh. It was actually pretty well written. Unfortunately I have not exercised that part of the brain all too much these days, though it's good to know I once possessed this ability, and can probably do it again with practice. Not sure if I'll ever be able to get back into screenwriting specifically, but I am sure I can get another gig going someday. Never burnt any bridges.

I'm glad I stocked up on the supplies I'd need for this class, so I don't have to wait till tomorrow after school to buy more before starting this assignment. I sure don't feel like doing a 10-hour project today, but I won't feel like doing it over the course of the week after a full day of classes even more.

I'm also grateful I gave myself Mondays off, and that my parents let me live at their place for free right now, even though I'd prefer to have my own place again. Not having a job is letting me focus on my school work and be at the top of my classes, and that couldn't happen if I was still on my own.

-Had an internship that turned out as I wanted, i.e. well and I was able to ask questions and show my motivation. I'll get a response next week.
-Managed to get rid of 2 annoying quests in MH3U.
-Purchased SMT IV.
-Two internship applications done.
-The house is clean.
-No commuting problem.

Seriously, though, I can't start on even the slightest incline. This week is gonna be brutal. Might as well just camp out at the office.
