I saw my favorite band in concert last night! I never really go to those much but I couldn't pass seeing OK GO in my own city. I was a little too sleep deprived to enjoy it fully, but it was awesome!

On the bright side I happened to get a 5000-euros loan to buy a Cottonmobile :3

That's going to be the cutest car ever, simply by virtue of having a Cotton in it.

Partner gave her 4 weeks notice at work today. Less than 30 days until she moves up here.

I wonder what the new Cottonmobile will be. :3

I'm having fun imagining Cottontofu in various compacts and city cars. Europe gets so many nifty automobiles that the US doesn't get. North American car-buyers have boring taste.

Moving onto the next stage (Stage 4!) of this job interview process. 3 hour onsite interview with the engineering team.

It pays better than we expected, too.

3 hour job interview went pretty well today. Met with 4 different guys from positions that would be around mine, I'd say the only one that was iffy was with the network engineer who asked me a bunch of network specific questions. He did acknowledge ahead of time that I wasn't a network specialist though, so I don't think I looked like a total fool.

The 45 minutes I spent with the guy who would be my actual boss, and is one of the hiring managers, was the best out of all 4 though, had a really great conversation with him and he seemed genuinely enthusiastic to have me there. Recruiters seemed positive in our conversation afterwards, said I would know by Tuesday. So, heres hoping. After today it really seems like its a perfect fit. I tried to imagine what another candidate might offer and its either outrageous physical attractiveness or a resume that is nearly identical to mine with just a bit more experience.
