...I met a childhood friend for the first time in 8 years and learned about my old classmates. I'm apparently still a hot topic among them, with nostalgia talks. XD Now, they have a real reason to talk with the news I'm working at my dad's (most of them are his patients).

So, I learned about where all my old friends are--one of them is now a dad-- and heard that the old plans for a reunion are still in the works. When I was 13, we wanted to do one, but I said it was too soon and didn't come. It kind of didn't work out, so we have yet to meet up again.

That was honestly the best thing to happen to me all summer. If there's a reason to get facebook, it's to keep in touch with the friends that I honestly can't see anymore... and help plan this reunion. XD I'm kind of nervous about it though, because wih Facebook, it feels like a cheap reunion of old friends. I'd love to pop by my old friends' homes and go, "Hey, remember me?"

...granted, everyone looks so different outside of a school uniform.

We had no variety at my school; we were a poor school. XD

After 4 hours on the phone with Verizon, I got my problem fixed.

I am happy today because I am finally at home again~!

@Age Gaps

Age gaps suck real bad when everyone you know is between 20 and 22. Half the people you know are like, "Lets go to the bar!" And the other half either get left behind or you have to try and compromise. Its a pain in the ass for birthdays etc. I'm pretty happy thats over.

I don't think it necessarily means you're not poor. During my time at a Christian Brothers school in Ireland the vast majority of students were from working class families, and were still required to wear uniforms. Depending on the environment private schools can go either way.

But from what I gather in this situation, if you wear uniforms, its probably not a poor school. Go check out the Oakland school district sometime.
