Crazy old cousin Acie, before his last stroke, used to buy Wild Turkey by the pallet.
Not all his shaking was from being old!

When traffic seemed endless and the line impenetrable... I heard a miraculous sound.
An oncoming ambulance.
And as all the cars part to the side as best they could, I bolted on in behind the ambulance for a quick ride home!

I'm not sure if liquor in Virginia is more or less expensive than elsewhere. I suppose about the same as Washington.
http://www.abc.state.va.us/Pricelist/price.html You can check all the prices there and tell me what you think. All the liquor here is sold by the state. I just looked up Wild Turkey; $23 for a 750ml bottle. So, I guess a little cheaper for that one.
I'm just glad beer/wine can be sold everywhere. It's awesome being able to duck into Total Wine or Farm Fresh and grab whatever I want at like 10 at night -- and I can buy it cold motherfuckers.
Compared to Oklahoma it's a fucking dream and, as I've mentioned, the lack of "bars" is truly spectacular. I've only experienced the liquor laws of two states but, fuck, Virginia's alright.
