Aww, c'mon, Noodles. Everyone's got baggage... and many, many people have parts of their lives that could warrant writing a book. I don't really see how being pacified with beer as a baby would've led to the hospitalization, either. I'd think that would've been caused by a conscious decision made as an adult, rather than the crazed overindulgence of a man who's been addicted since infancy and has no control over his actions.
This coming from a gal whose biological father died due to his alcoholism and whose ex-stepfather was a raging alcoholic.

Still glad I don't have a Bostonian accent despite living less than an hour away from Boston.

I consider mine to be more like the standard Mid-Atlantic English accent, with some small alterations, of course :V
