And Rosel too I think.

Sometimes I pronounce an 'r' the Leiden way (i.e. non-rhotic English 'r', almost like a 'w'), but most of the time it's still a regular Dutch 'r' (rhotic).
I've no idea how bad my English sounds because I only write it, not speak it. It'd probably sound European because I'd pronounce some vowels properly (i.e. unshifted).

I am happy because I am talking to dear Noodles about our shared, filthy, heritage.

Good weekend, man.

Friday was nice and peaceful around the house with everyone out of town.

Saturday evening I spent some relaxing time my myself again at the pub and got a good amount of reading done for the ItL book club. Lovely, soothing live guitar music, and several free drinks from and with the awesome staff. Then I walked back home into a pajama garage party my next door neighbours were hosting, about the time I figured I'd had enough alone time.




So then this morning I decide to take that and wear it outside. Put on the mask, put on my beats, and a few of us headed down to the pub all casual-like, the others in PJs, going right through a whack of people attending Sunday service at the church at the end of the block. I'm told I got a few looks. Was it my hair? I do admit it was a bit messy.

It's perfectly normal, right?



Apparently I was quite popular with the young children having brunch with their families in the pub. Waved to several, and one parent asked his toddler if he wanted to pet my mane and say goodbye to the horsie. :3 The occasional "omg there's a horse at the bar" was amusing, too.

I was bet five dollars to keep that thing on the whole time. And so I put some CCR in the jukebox and had my steak and eggs through the mask.

It was pretty great.

Negzee is my favorite. Also, where can I buy a horse mask? *runs off*

Although I'm seriously conflicted. The first picture, horse alone at the bar, is fucking hilarious.

Also, sick day today, but I'm feeling a lot better than yesterday, well enough to go to school. But I slept in till 11 and I was already called in as sick, so I'm staying home today. And my mom just left for a few hours, and my dad's at work. Score!
