So, my DM gave me a warning about events to come in our campaign. Depending on how the stats turn out for my character, he may throw his daughter into a Chaos Storm to speed up her aging enough to make her my second character, which is the death sentence for the one I'm currently using. xD

The DM has a love-hate relationship with this character. He hates how unsquishy of a mage he is (...a mage that can tank. ). However, he loves the personality behind the character. xD He's such an evil man, but has such a huge soft spot for his daughter that it's enough of a morality check to make him not so evil. The good thing is that a lot of the bonuses for having a second character is that you can have "backstory" bonuses and such. I doubt I'll have any explicit ones as everything will be inherited from my first character--namely his spell book and tank (...yes, I managed to get a tank last session.).

So, my party defeated several really tough enemies that proved just how absurd my Defensive capabilities are. Everything this "suicidal" boss threw at me did no damage due to how high my physical and magic defense was. After killing him, we fought the boss of the quest and although things started out slow, we ended up bringing it down to the wire.

I got 50% extra experience for delivering the finishing blow to him as well. In addition to pretty much getting ridiculous stuff from both fights, I ended up getting all of the spells that this boss knew, because he was also a mage.
So, I'm essentially overpowered now... like... Really... Lemme show you just what what this did:

The DM has every reason to hate me. It's why I have no problems if my character is killed off at the end. Though... look at his daughter, who is still level 1 and just getting half the EXP he gets as she's "in-training" and is a noncombatant.

She's going into the next part of this all at level 1, but her stats are actually almost as strong as one of our level 5 characters. xD

Well, this is also a homebrew campaign, so the stats might be a bit off. The DM said he took what was good in 3.5 and 4e and combined them. I should show Cider's stats. This mage is absurd for his class. He's got 50 DEF and 42 MDEF and can nuke. I think the DM has every reason to wanna kill me. XD

The one spell I got that I like is Salamander. It lasts the whole battle and every Fire, Blaze, Magma, or Steam type spell cast by ANYONE adds +2 to the damage output to the spell and it stacks. That was the real danger for me during my fight with this one guy. He also had a perk that was called "Vengence is Best Served Hot." It did rebound damage for the next 5 turns for 6 D20 damage. And either he would be hitting us with his spells and getting stronger or I would have to go massive overkill mode on him. Because by this point his spells did +28 extra damage.

One thing to like about the Essentials Thief: Skill crits. :3

So, my DM called me over to his room today and showed me soething. After our characters meet the antagonist of the campaign, my character's 6 year old daughter/apprentice gets a unique power, which grants her a special class: Magical Girl. xD

When she transforms, she ages up 10 years and recieves armor that gives her both good physical and magical defense--hopefully mental defense is included. The only weakness is anything with tentacles.

She even gets a whole new set of spells to go with her current ones, while she's in that form.

Well, Smartfire isn't exactly an attack. xD I don't know why my DM didn't categorize each element by battle and utility spells.

And technically, isn't any transformation spell a Polymorph? xD The catch is that eventually, she will be too old and when she transforms, she'll be stuck in that form. Not that it's a bad thing. It just means she has more sex appeal than usual. xD

...though she's 10 years younger than she actually looks. It's a good thing her father is incredibly scary, or pedos would be all over her.

What do you mean "not exactly" an attack? Is it forbidden to interfere or not?

Better stop that aging before transforming kills her / makes her forget where she is / breaks a hip. Become enlightened within the next seventy years or something. :3

It's not exactly an attack in the fact that it does no damage. Utility spells are cantrips that are more helpful outside of battle. Smartfire would be considered one, but it's in Blaze, for some reason.

As for my soon-to-be-magical girl, the DM has agreed to me giving her an oversized hammer. XD Her aging will stop, when she reaches a certain age, because she'll be too old to be a magical girl. In the end, she'll just be stuck in the transformed state. It's not too bad--her sex appeal goes up. xD And what's better than a Yandere or Tsundere daughter of a zombie weilding a giant hammer?

Also, my DM just offered me the chance to be DM for next year's campaign of his homebrew. Basically, of the whole party, I'm the one always pushing the system's boundry's, according to him. That and he knows I need the experience of being one. xD I have a feeling that I'll be a very nice DM during traveling, but if there's a fight, I will be very cruel.

...plus, the DM said that if anyone has to make the party fight a robotic version of my zombie character, it should be me. xD Basically, it was one of those "Imagine the worst case scenario" moments that brought up the concept of "Mecha-Cider." A robot modeled after him, using the same spells and some of its own attacks. It also has defenses greater than the original character, complete with Mental Defense, which my character lacked. So, when he comes up, he will be very difficult to kill. xD

Well, I could, but I don't think it'd do much damage. I have to ask the specifics of that spell. It might be up to DM discretion--same with shaping spells (Wind Shaping, Fire Shaping, etc).


My DM also wanted me to give him something cooler than "Buddy Wiser" for Cider's real name, for the quest we're going on at some point in the campaign. So, I decided to give him something a bit cooler for a first name: "Spike." Then I decided to be lazy with his last name and just put "D." as his last name. Get it?

The reason is that my character is getting killed off at the end of the campaign for just being overpowered. When he crunched the numbers and took into acount just how crazy I can be with his racial ability and perks--Patchwork Body lets me attatch limbs and unnatural configuration lets me attatch limbs ANYWHERE I want. Right now, I ripped off the wings of a armored-dragon man.. thing and pput them on his back. Then I ripped out his teeth and replaced my own.

The DM hates me so much now. I have melee, range, and magic. He either has to get a psychic on me or somehow make my character lose his sanity and become a mindless zombie.

Also, Vodka, Cider's daughter is getting a weapon proficiency in hammers. Once she becomes a magical girl, she'll be able to weild giant hammers...

well I have him put together as a Paladin, I'll do that for now and retcon it later into Cavalier or something.
