Actually, I analyzed a lot of what was wrong with it with a friend of mine and I've pointed out so many things:

I'unno... am I kind of being fair?

This semester really has tested my patience with this homebrew. xD It's why my time as DM is gonna be so hard, because this setting has nothing really establishing it.

My goals have pretty much become:

1. Give an overarching goal for all of the characters, regardless of the campaign to achieve, by having some universal antagonist.

2. Have a story that makes the players actually think about how their characters act and such and give special rewards for maintaining consistency/developing their character. Gameplay is nice, but seeing as how shaky the gameplay of this homebrew is, I think the story of each campaign will be its saving grace.

So, basically here's the premise I've settled on so far for what the plot would be for my campaign:

This is what I'm going with, but I have to find a way to have our DM's character not get completely underpowered by the old ones. Though, considering how he underpowers our characters to the whole world, I think this is nothing. XD

Probably the biggest challenge would be the "working backwards" bit of everything.

I'm all about the teamwork.

I'm a pretty lightweight and squishy Witch -- I always have the absolute lowest AC, even after Mage Armor, and my hit points are ridiculously low. One good melee blow is enough to knock me within ten HP of death. (This is why I took "Spite" on a recent level-up. First melee blow triggers a touch spell of my selection, cast at the same time as the Spite spell. I use Vampiric Touch, 6d6 and I gain the damage dealt as temporary HP -- it's like, FUCK WITH ME I FUCK WITH YOU, BITCH)

So my running joke is that Deneb (my character) never goes anywhere first or off by herself. The DM is like "okay, line yourselves up in this hallway" and Deneb is always smack in the middle of her allies.

Also my familiar, being a fey-wild Dweomer cat and not a standard cat, has the ability to use Dimensional Door twice a day, and he can bring Deneb with him. So if we get into a rough situation, like, garbage compactor Star Wars style, I'm always like WHELP ME AND FELIX CAN GTFO ANYTIME WE WANT, SO.... I DUNNO WHAT YOU GUYS ARE GONNA DO...

^ Something about the first and last paragraphs brought the 4e-build "Bard Taxi" to mind.

It's a (typically Eladrin, because this is exactly their domain) Bard that teleports. A lot. Like more than every round. Enemies. Allies. Themselves. Allies and themselves. Themselves and allies and themselves because fuck you spatial dimensions that's why.
Teleport a couple of feet. Teleport across the room. Planeswalk for free.
Shift one square, oh no I mean teleport instead because why not, and btw my fighter is now on top of you because that's what my walking does.
Restrained? What's that?

Blink dog companion optional.

^sounds like pathfinder to me, maybe she's using homebrew witch/summoner classes. Or maybe 3.75? All I know is that there isn't a witch class in 4e (at least to my knowledge)

Noobles, you know that pathfinder is under OGC, right? The core rulebook is just easier to navigate.

Yeah, Pathfinder.

I've never played any other system. I like Pathfinder, and I love the shit out of the Witch class.

Witches are prepared arcane spellcasters who store their spells in a familiar, who serves as their connection to their patron deity. The spell list pulls from all different classes with a few witch-specific spells (like Ill Omen and I think Screech) -- and sometimes it's a bit odd. I chose the patron of Elemental magic, which is the only reason Deneb knows Fireball -- normally Witches don't get that spell.

Witches also get Hexes, which are supernatural abilities that do different things. I chose the Flight hex, for example, which means I can Fly, as per the spell, X minutes per level, usable in 1 minute increments. Also as part of the hex I can use Feather Fall at will and can use Levitate once per day.

Another Hex is Evil Eye, which is a -4 penalty to my choice of either attack, AC, skill checks, or .... one other, I forget ... I mostly use it on attack and AC depending on if the melee fighters are having a hard time hitting. The absolute best part is the hex lasts X rounds per level if they fail the save, but if they succeed at the save it lasts 1 round -- BUT! There's another Hex called Cackle which extends the affect 1 round if I spend a move action Cackling ... so, essentially, so long as Deneb just keeps spending her move action laughing at the bad guy...

So the Hexes are a really cool Witch feature that give her a lot of versatility in battle. I try to scatter my spell list so that I can do something just about every round, usually involving some sort of de-buff of the enemy. I'm also the walking Fireball, like the campaign where we fought nothing but fucking undead and plants that were immune to mind-affecting effects ... which is like 80% of my spell list. My lists for that campaign was like BURNING HANDS, BURNING GAZE, FIREBALL, LIGHTNING BOLT, FLAME STRIKE...

Oh! Speaking of Burning Gaze! Another really fun tactic I developed is that since I can use my familiar for any spell with a target of personal/you, I can cast Burning Gaze on Tiny Deadly Felix, my familiar. Burning Gaze requires a standard action to use, you look at the enemy and they have to make their save or burst into flame. It lasts X rounds per level, so I cast it at the beginning of combat and then Felix just spends the rest of the battle setting enemies on fire. Ahahahaha oh Tiny Deadly Felix I love you <3

My alternate character Ser Dontos, the Cavalier Centaur (Cavalier is essentially a Knight, like a Paladin without the charisma-based magic, and he is his own mount). (And, yes, that's an intentional ASoIaF reference) He's a much goofier and less tactical character than Deneb, my witch. I don't play him as much, but he's a fun break since he's a straight-forward melee character.

So, basically the highlights of today's session, involving my character:

1. Infiltrated a goblin army base with a bang. After doing examinations of the facility, we knew the location of a fuel reserve and that the fence surrounding the place was electrically charged by these high tension wires. I loaned my sword to our other fighter so he can climb the pole and snap one. Meanwhile, on another part of the map, I had an explosive arrow aimed at the fuel reserves, which served as back up power. We succeeded and essentially destroyed the entire outside of the facility. The following battle with the lone tank that survived was very sad... I disabled it by blowing out one of its treads and then the next turn I just hacked away at the barrel of it's main gun.

2. A Chaos Storm split my giant sword and my magic sword into 21 swords of every magical element. I managed to get myself some Karma points by deciding to give 3 of them to my other party members, because they had a matching magical element (The other 18 are in the tank... taking up almost all of its weight limit).

3. Absolutely destroyed 10 of this really difficult enemy, because I quadruple crit'd with a trait called "Ubermensche" active. Basically, the turn prior, the DM had a "Firing squad" attack of 10 bazookas. It utterly destroyed my armor, but I hard saved to survive with 1 HP. You have a mute (Chaos storm turned Eurdik mute) and very pissed off woman now, who is already pretty imfamous for her rage (previous session had us nearly killed for me flipping over someone's sandwich). So, I rolled for a complex action and crit'd. I rolled to hit and crit'd and then I rolled for how many actions I took and crit'd (and ended up getting 22 actions in one turn).

That whole enemy party just got destroyed after my character's rage. And the boss was watching and he pretty much killed himself out of fright, according to the DM. And due to this bneing the mother of all crits he had seen, a magical anomoly occured where I had whooped so much ass that the mess hall we had been fighting in was slowly being erased from existence.

Now, I'm just hoping that one day my DM requires me to do something that doesn't rely on me basically getting the mother of all crits to ruin his day. D ; Because before I just basically broke magic. Now, I'm just having to outroll his rigged rolls (I clearly see him changing the rolls to beat me, which really annoys the hell out of me, because sometimes these guys roll an artificial 25. Luckily the redemtion is that natural crits beat all now. =_=).

I told my DM that my next character is going to be something that requires me to synergize skills more, because right now, I'm just straight up beating up shit. Told him about Kino's witch and he said, "Glad she's nowhere near us." I honestly wish his magic was not so much of a powerhouse.

So far, I have the following rules to my characters:

1. I can't wear scale armor anymore, because my first character traumatized him with his folly(really high defenses at level 1).
2. Future characters can't be proficient in it.
3. No more zombie characters for me.
4. Random moments he will make a -10 my loot or initiative rolls, just to give the others a chance. I occassionally let it slide, but it gets really unfair when I roll a normal roll (like a 10) and end up getting shit. xD
5. I'm not allowed to mention Vodka at all. I can understand him being tired of her, but she really was something I can be proud of in this game. xD She's the pinnacle of how much I broke his system. Soon, it might be my tank next, because my friend is using it as his EXP farm by upgrading it.
