xD Well, he was saying, "You just break the game too much." then I used you as an example. xD The difference is that I have miracle luck. You actually have synergy with your party.

That's my biggest problem in this campaign. None of the skills can work well together. The mages are purely nukers, the psychic class mind invades and forces suicides-- it's one reason I really got annoyed witht hat class. It should be considered a complex action to invade a mind and then force the body to do something. Though considering everything that can potentially be an instant kill is targetted at me.

"And now, it's my tuuuurn~" *proceeds to destroy enemy party with their own cannon*

He hates my turn, because it takes forever. xD Either it's arguing over my actions or me having to roll a lot.

So, today's session was relatively uneventful. We returned to the Goblin base to fight the boss and we had a relatively normal fight. I finished it off with a kick that knocked it over and then a kick that killed it (Blunt damage ignored its armor and the first hit was a crit that did about 80 damage). My DM is starting to cut me some slack, because I'm doing some really nice things to help the party to gain me karma points. I'm allowed to trade my rolls with party members, for instance. In my case, I said, "Well, Pete can't handle a flamethrower hit and I have armor that reduces non-magical fire by 3/4 of the damage and high magic DEF (which is what damage even nonmagical fire is calculated by, odd enough).

We also got 3 wolves to become our minions and received boons from the God of Wolves. I forgot what our healer and brawler got, but I ended up getting a boon that increased my awareness as long as I killed a large game once a year with no equipment and sacrificed it to the god. The Robot became a high priest of this god, though because he decided to worship it.

I ended up getting 50 more arrows, giving myself 150 total arrows (50 normal, 50 explosive, and 50 hammerhead). I also learned that my DM is being lazy and not working on other weaponstyles that are common, like BOWS. I asked him if there was a skill that let me move and shoot at the same time isntead of two separate actions.

Oh, and I bought Swordchuks for my character. xD


I also was talking to my DM about sending me the rule book for Summer, so I can practice DMing by running his homebrew with my friends at home. I also told him that the campaign I'll be running next Spring (when he graduates and doesn't have enough time to do the planning DMing needs) will tie into the plot. And when I told him what I planned in a nutshell, he said he might even make the event canon in the lore.

Basically, every 350 years these Magical Storms known as Chaos and Order Storms stop entirely for one year. The next year, the mother of all Magical Storms forms over a random location and anyone that makes it to the Eye will reach Transcendence. Most likely I might have to either shorten the quest or change the role our DM's character has in the campaign so he doesn't end up disapearing while having and important role still--he said he won't be able to come back after Graduation. XP So, I'm gonna work on everything.

ALSO: With my input, the world now has dinosaurs in this campaign. Dinosaurs make everything better.

Played "street fighter: the storytelling game" with some friends. (They were hosting)

DM was terrible, story was terrible, pizza was terrible, details after I take a long cold shower... a long, long, cold shower.

Unfortunately, all space stuff is in the next edition. xD This all spawned from me saying, "We have 6 upgrades to the tank left. These will be those upgrades:

1. Making the tank amphibious.
2. Making the tank fly.
3. Rockets.
4. Giving it armor strong enough to survive atmospheric re-entry
5. Oxygen Supplies
6. Tether for doing repairs in enviroments, where we can get separated from the tank.

DM said if I brought that tank to space, he'd destroy it instantly. D ; I'm not allowed to give anything the love it deserves.

You guys totally combo breaker'd me.

Anyways, here it is.

As we entered the DM's house, the only things I could smell were old clothes, the DM's distinctive sweat stench, and something I could only guess was old dog food. A good descriptor of the game, when I think back on it.

The only reason I joined in the first place, though, was mostly because I wanted to see how the SFSG (Street fighter story-telling game) played, I didn't necessarily enjoy the DM's company in any situation, I probably should have thought about it though...

So we made our characters, if I remember correctly, my companions made the following characters:

Jacob Georgus, The lost, his master mysteriously died in a car crash before Jacob's training ended, and he's been determined to find the real cause after a shady man informed him that it was foul play. Typical standard shoto-clone.

H-man, the dealer, a large man in a trench coat, not much is known of his history. He apparently plays a part in the black market though. A zoning character.

And my character. Project A2. A former loli (what did you expect?), A2 was the subject to various lab experiments in Cuba after being taken from some first world country (England, was going to be revealed later). After the experiments, she gained the ability to transform any part of her body into a spike, however, she was also rendered blind, and fights through smell and sight, she can also sense the general direction of someone using ki (A feat I got by trading a fair amount of health). A rushdown character.

Right, so after we made our characters, the DM started us out. Apparently we were in a malt shop when some street punks bust in brandishing some knives and saying things like "we're the best!" Here's the first problem, when the DM introduced the scene, he specifically mentioned some off-duty policeman in their uniformstaking a break.Right, so that was mentioned and we had a laugh. And then the battle began.

It was unnecessarily hard, one of the punks had a stunning whip, which he used liberaly on my character, the DM was particularly scared of my glass cannon being able to one-shot these enemies. After the frustrating fight, one of the punks teold us that he was working for a guy named Zeta, and that he lived somewhere around the big donut building or something ridiculous like that.

Jacob of course wanted to go after this Zeta character, but H-man convinced him that they weren't targeting Jacob, and that he wouldn't be worth it, the DM was hinting for us in a very obvious manner that we had to go after him, I noted that our characters can't hear the DM speaking, so we finish our milkshakes and head out and look for ways to earn money, seeing as H-man was the only one with a somewhat steady income, and he adopted my character (according to the GM, not the guy who actually made the character). And that wasn't quite enough to support three people. As we went outside, the GM mentioned a guy in an eagle costume. He was fighting a ressurected Fidel Castro that used dark magic.

After several bad fights much like the first, the GM badly tried to intertwine the sub-plot we actually wanted to play into the slightly confusing sub-plot he wanted us to play, and that ended up awkward as he tried to kill off eagleman, but we saved him everytime...
That is, until he was killed in a cutscene... A cutscene, ugh.

Anyways, we genericely find Jacob's master killer through very easy half-assed detective shenanigans. The DM tried to specifically make enemies that were each of our banes to make it harder, I reminded the GM of my feat of sensing ki, and we quickly dispatched the rest of the baddies from good old fashioned teamwork. The GM sent out the final boss, with stunning powers, grappling style, and three attacks per turn... One for each character... Ugh, eventually we beat him up and were battered as well, and then, ugh...

The guy turned into an alien demon. No kidding.

With this transformation, he quickly kicked our asses, as we didn't get to heal, at all. When we were all K.O.ed, the GM simply said:

"Hey, maybe if you guys went to Zeta instead of being stupid, maybe you would have got enough experience to level and beat him."

Growls and mumbling insued, and the GM had this really douchy look on his face like he just won a nobel prize by winning a bet he cheated on.

A bit of time was left, so I suggested that I host a small game. When we started, I narrated the rest of the battle, BS'ing how H-man had some revitalizing drug to use on himself when the big guy was not looking. After a full party res, I narrated the rest of the match, which ended with everyone getting K.O'ed again except Jacob, who reached the spirit of his dead master, and used a final Shoryuken to finish the match, we all cheered, and the game was really over. The GM was complaining, saying we "don't listen" and we "suck" and that we "can't accept that [we] lost". We were giving high fives, and talking about how cool the ending was in contrast to the bad filler the actual GM made. Then he kicked us out of the house...

In fact, now that I think about it, I don't know whether or not it was worth it for that epic ending. That's a SF RPG I guess...

tl;dr: Shit happened.

...did the guy even have character sheets for that alien demon boss? I mean, considering how hard he pushed to fight that other guy, he probably didn't.
