Flipped back a few pages, and it does seem people are being highly unreasonable. I can think of many developers who have been eagerly awaiting a "DS 2" in some form for years. Now that they can flourish there is much to look forward to, especially since Nintendo themselves are pushing out a lot of games that are not based around the fact it can produce 3d. The whining is rather entertaining, actually.

Only because they delayed it for over a year on the Gamecube, to accommodate the Wii. That does little to remedy things, even if it was justified. Now, while I do not care for any of these other series, we have not even seen a staple Mario title for launch since Super Mario 64. We got spinoffs and remakes.
