I got back from Las Vegas

If I could find an enjoyable career centered around there, it is a place I could definitely live.

Living in Vegas = not as good as you think

And I say that as an assole party guy who is looking forward to a week of debauchery three times his year (goin to Vegas over Christmas, spring break, and a friends birthday over summer). Great place to visit, terrible place to live.

I know what you meant. I'm still saying it's not that great of a place to live. My point was that as a party guy, Vegas should be ideal for me but it really isn't.

wait. didn't i just read in time mag. that las vegas is one of the hardest hit by the recession? houses foreclosing like crazy, casino construction halted: generally just s.o.l.?

No, they got hit really bad. Friend's family had a building go down something like 60% in value (1m to ~400k). That's not even the worst of it really.
