Hello everyone, it's nice to meet you all! I must say it's nice to find a good forum for this series. The info on the GameFaqs forums has been very helpful but to be honest I don't like their forums very much.
So anyway, I picked up EO3 about a month ago after Penny-Arcade mentioned it. I vaguely remember seeing the first game in stores but I passed over it due to the whole 1st-person dungeon crawler thing. I've kinda got bad memories of trying to play Wizardry and Bard's Tale on the NES when I was a kid and didn't really know what I was doing. I'm not sure exactly what it was but something about PA's description combined with the blog on gamespite that they linked which was half fanfic, half review of EO1 made the game irresistible. I've been playing every chance I get ever since.
I must say that I'm loving every part of this game. Even the parts that result in ragequit.
