I am noodles. I was looking for a place other than GameFAQS where I could discuss Etrian Odyssey, and this place looked the nicest. I've been a part of plenty of forums, but nothing game-specific like this.[/b]

Haha, welcome Noodles!! Actually, we need someone to get into our EO sections and put some life into them. :3 We all love the games but I think some (like me) EO-ed ourselves out XD.

I should introduce myself!
Howdy! -waves- As you can see to the left, I'm Zandrena. My interests are first aid, botany, art, foreign films and of course video games! Well, breathing is an interest, too. Since I'd kind of die without it and stuff.
I grew up as a MOTHER/EarthBound fan the day EarthBound was released in North America. From that time, I was pretty much sold to the series and didn't think I could like anything more. In the more recent years I remember seeing Etrian Odyssey on the internet and stuff but it didn't interest me. These days you see so many generic JRPGs that it's so hard to take a newcomer seriously.
At the time, I was up to date with the Japanese music group and they released an album on what we know as Etrian Odyssey. This was really odd since they usually stick to Tohou Project so I knew this game had to be very special.
One day while shopping with my mother at the mall and waiting for her outside of a store, I glanced at the stores behind me and into EB Games. My eye scanned up the shelves and at the top in a corner was a preowned copy of Etrian Odyssey. I bought it and from that day forth it is now a favourite!
After Googling for more media on EO, I came across this community. I lurked for a bit before I joined! ^^;
