Computer is fixed and running smoothly! I don't want to jinx anything, but I can't even express how relieved I am not to be worrying about it anymore.

Not sure where this really belongs but may be out for the next few days while I'm with my dad at the hospital while he's undergoing surgery (for his heart; no idea what kind of surgery really short of "had a heart attack, needs surgery.").

Surgery moved to tomorrow since my dad is a pretty big risk. Needs quadrupal coronary bypass graft. So here I am back at home/work until tomorrow.

I will say the entire hospital didn't really inspire much confidence. Missing treatment from his records (to the point the doctor that's performing the surgery came in confused at why he had something on his IV drip). Oh ... oh boy. It was like an episode of fucking Scrubs.
