That's vile. Really sickening. Takes me back to the hundreds of Sunday mornings I wasted at my mother's behest. They were never that insane/full of yelling and rocking... but they were insidious nonetheless.

(Well, I'm not sure how young some of you are, but a lot of initial parent-raeg against rock 'n' roll and certain games was also devil worship inspired. It's somewhat ubiquitous in the larger societal picture.)

Nah, the typical deal is that the books are accused of being propaganda, making general demony things seem friendly and glamorous, to slowly lure children to a dark place of Weird Ritual Stuff (That Isn't Christian Weird Ritual Stuff).

Hey is this still the introduction thread? The last Harry Potter movie is out in the states next Friday, can't wait myself.

Hello all!

I just started playing EOIII, so I've come to hang out.
I bought it partly because of the reviews, partly because I know I enjoy games where fights are difficult/require attention (have also been playing Golden Sun for GBA recently and I like the game, but the fights are just button smashing BS).

So far I've only played for a few hours, I enjoy it, but am just starting to see how things work etc. I've wiped once--couldn't make it back to the exit in time. Loved the thrill of rushing back, I'm going to have to be a better judge of when to turn around (probably as soon as it's even a question?)
Anyway, I hope my questions and I are welcome.

PS. PLA--love that Cave Johnson quotation, though I found him really annoying during the game. Just finished Portal 2 a few days ago--one of the best games I've played in years (even though I thought it dragged a bit in the middle.)
