Hello, everyone. I've already posted on other forums, but still thought I should post on here; I totally forgot about the intro page, woopsie. Anyhoo, I'm Chitai-Qixi (choose whichever you'd rather call me). Qixi is the name of my current guild in EO1 (3rd playthrough, 2nd cartridge), and will be in EO2 (again 3rd playthrough, 2nd cartridge) as well, but in EO3 I'm working on how to merge my two guilds together in my brain's story. Chitai is my favorite star of destiny personality in Suikoden! And my N/Z in EO3. I've checked this forum sporadically for a while to look for tips or read stuff about the games, and finally decided to join. I'm a 3rd year international uni student, living in Scotland, originally from outside Philly. My degree is Classics and Philosophy, so if anyone else translates Ancient Greek or Latin literature, I'm sooo nerdily into it I can chat about it forever. Homer is the shiiiiit, and I'm a Vergil fanboy for life. I also take Chinese and Japanese, because I love languages and their lit. Love reading, especially ancient literature and fantasy, doing outdoorsy stuff, watching anime, and gaming. Specifically games like EO and CoH, tactics games like Tactics Ogre, FFT, Fire Emblem, and JRPGs. My favorite JRPG series is Suikoden (is it obvious)! I love those games so much. I used to be all about the Final Fantasy series until SV, and then it all changed. EO has been living in my DS for a while now, along with my FFTA which has been there pretty much since that game was released. And that is not a joke. Well that's probably way more than enough. Hey hi Chitai-Qixi! (you know, that looks like something transliterated from Chinese; I wonder how you'd pronounce it)

Do you also translate Chinese & Japanese classics? Write crossovers with Greek & Latin classics? Have debates/showdowns between various classical philosophers?

And Class Of Heroes I so wish Atlus would translate more games from that series.

Well Qixi is in regards to the Qixi festival, and yeah, I pronounce it like it would be in Chinese. I wish I could translate Chinese and Japanese classics, but I'm no where near good enough yet so I've had to settle with reading things like Water Margin, Three Kingdoms, Tale of Heike, Tale of Genji, and several Noh dramas in unabridged translations. Eventually doing comparative literature on Eastern and Western ancient classics would be a dream. Monty Python's philosopher football championships?

I've imported KtMtGM2, but haven't played it in a long time. I finally got around to beating all the optional bosses in CoH and then took a break from that game, although I put in a ridiculous amounts of hours constantly making new parties and such. They're bringing it to the 3DS which is at least something.

:3 I, too, am very nerdy for ancient Greek and Roman mythology. I use to be a Latin student, but I'm afraid that I wasn't particularly good and that was waaaaaay back when I was in high school back in '02.
