Even though it is one of the coldest provinces right now, this is actually one of the warmest holidays Winnipeg has seen in ages. Typically, at this time of year, we are forcibly bunkered in with snow and the roads are an icy Hell. I think we have only seen weather around the mid -20s around Christmas, which is pretty tame all things considered.

Mm. Does not help that I seem to be losing my fabled resistance to the elements. Sometimes I seem to be the only one shivering uncontrollably despite being well-dressed. Perhaps it would not be so bad if I owned normal things like sweaters...
