I've been lurking for a while but with the goal of getting rid of my internet-shyness, I've decided to join in as well, so hello Itl

I've been playing EO since the first as well so while i have a lack of eo-playing friends in real life, this will be great for me to have the chance to talk about it!

Heya XMZ

Welcome to ItL!
If you've been playing since the first game, what took you so long? We're nice people, really. Well, except for Zamisk maybe, but you shouldn't listen to him

Hey, XMZ! ^_^ I never could understand how a person could have internet shyness. o_O I used the internet to get rid of my real-world shyness back when I was in high school (and as a way to build up my self esteem again).
Well, this is the perfect place to do it. You don't even have to worry about trolls here or people who might insult you. :3 Can't wait to see you in future conversations! Feel free to jump in anywhere!

Wow, it's rare to see that image here used with this meaning of 'trap'. And from Zeta no less.

Seeing me mention traps really shouldn't be all that surprising XD
Speaking of which, I'm hoping my vote helps get Bridget into the Guilty Gear x Blazblue crossover.

Just came back from the countryside, near Le Mans (in the Pays de la Loire region, close to Brittany and Normandy)

It was good to get some fresh air and visit old places for the weekend

Hmm... hi, sup.
I've been lurking for the past few weeks and I've finally decided to go ahead and introduce myself. So, greetings people!
A few years ago I started playing EO1 only to quickly find out that I wasn't man enough for that game. Fast forward to a couple months ago, I gave the EO4 demo a try only because of "casual" mode. Even though I found the game hard, it was actually fun and not rage-inducing, DS-breaking hard. A couple weeks ago I finally got my copy and imported my demo data.
After a few hours I realized something weird: Even though I was playing in "casual" mode the game was pretty tough to deal with and... my Ariadne's Threads where disappearing? Yes, it took my quite a few hours to realize the "casual" setting wasn't imported from the demo (or maybe I'm so terribly dumb I didn't actually set it).
In any case, free ego boost! But truth be told, I still have a lot of questions and I'll be probably bothering people around here

Welcome to ItL Merkoth, have fun

EO1 can be tough but rewarding, so play at your own pace

And don't hesitate to ask questions, it won't bother us!

Welcome, Merkoth! Don't worry, we don't bite. Well, if Maxine is to be believed. (She is.)

Hey, Merkoth! ^_^ Yeah, EOIV's normal mode is still quite a bit easier, but it's still difficult enough to feel rewarding. We'll be happy to answer any of your questions. Don't hesitate to ask!
