Oh, it's sorta the reverse of this online group I've been with for 7 years. Over there we've had 3 new threads, and 2 threads with new posts, in the last 6 months. But there's quite a bit of conversation on the IRC/Steam. Here, you have 500+ page threads, and currently one other person in IRC.

^_^; I think the IRC thing failed horribly. We tried it for a time, but I'm shocked to even here there's one person appearing in the channel. We just didn't take to it here. I think that's just because all of us have such different schedules and the forums are so much more convenient in that way.

Also: typically forum rules are far more strict. Things like no double posting, no offtopicness and crap like that. I don't know what your forums are like. Here, double post as much as you like (fuck, I triple post sometimes) and I encourage a little offtopicness - I think it's beneficial to conversations. As long as you can trace it back to the original topic and the topic can easily be returned back to its roots, feel free to gab here.

OK, I just found out that because of the way the accosted government is handling the healthcare industry, there's a significant chance my mom will lose her job. If that happens, that would leave me with about a month until I'm homeless, so I'm going to try and get things a bit more stable financially.

This will probably be my last post for quite some time, if not for good. Wish I joined sooner.
