personally i'm currently kinda demotivated on the golden lair B3F, i really don't like the monsters.

Welcome here! I've only beaten EOII, although I got really close to the end of III before losing interest. I barelyplayed IV.

Just wanted to give a quick hello to all ItL members. I played EO1 when it first came out, but was totally overwhelmed! Now I came back to EOU a week ago and completely fell in love w/ how it leaves just a ton to your imagination. Been obsessed and have been looking to find a place to post shameless EO fan-art/fantasy art that would be appreciated, haha....

Welcome, pesmergia. Indeed, Etrian Odyssey's storytelling follows the philosophy that "more is less". When it comes to EOU specifically, I am sure people like the personalities of the characters they created more than the story mode characters. :b

I'm noticing the games I've liked most recently share the DIY-blank-slate kind of storytelling. Although, EOU's story mode isn't w/out some charm, I'm most looking forward to finishing it and building my own party.

And I remember Aalborg from driving through Denmark on our way to Sweden on vacation. No more than the name though. I think we just drove past it. (this was in the 80s/90s, so please forgive my bad memory)

And, sorry, Kim! Don't have time to play as many vg's as I did when I was in highschool. But I'm kinda' blowing through EOU. Only been a week and I'm almost done w/ Story, and I can't wait for classic mode. I'll def' move onto the older entries afterward!

Hey guys, it's me again. The wireless networks adapter in my computer stopped working, so I'll be on my phone the next few days, which should give me the opportunity of posting here more often!
I do my art on the computer, so I won't be posting in my artwork thread sadly. I suspect that something fishy is going on with my computer, but it's probably 'cause it's old and bad. If I'm still posting in the next few days, it probably means I will not have my computer fixed by then. So wish me luck with my computer as I post!

Oh my gah. Ohmygahohmygahohmygah.

I'm so amazingly sorry that I haven't been around. A lot has happened. Well, maybe not a lot in terms in very many things happened, but the magnitude of the one thing that DID happen.

First off, we got burgled. Yeah. The EXTREMELY AGGRAVATING THING ABOUT IT IS that the ONLY stuff that the guy who got our stuff took was stuff that ONLY I CARED ABOUT, my computer and my Wii U's controller (Freakin' idiot probably thought it was an iPad). None of my other family members, in any way, had ANYTHING taken from them, or at least anything that they couldn't replace for just like five dollars. "WTF sponge," You're probably thinking, "it's just a computer and gamepad, you can get another one its totally fine". Well with that you're HORRIBLY HORRIBLY WRONG.

I've mentioned before that I've been working alot on making games, music, large projects of that nature, correct? Now, where have I been saving these? If you answered my toaster, YOU'RE WRONG. If you answered the computer that got stolen, YES YOU ARE CORRECT. I've been seriously depressed since I lost the computer and haven't really made any attempt to come back to the fourms since a few days ago. However, as I said, my computer was stolen, and the only "family" computer we have is so darn slow I can't even log on, and my the other computer is my dads (It USED to be mine but now he basically stole it after I started using the other computer, the one that was stolen).

Now, they found the guy and everything. He really wasn't covering his tracks very well and got found really easily. Unfortunately, our stuff still hasn't been found yet. He lived with a whole bunch of other people, I wouldn't be surprised if one of them has the stuff. Don't worry though, they literally can't use anything they got. The computer has a (probably) IMPENETRABLE password, and the Gamepad is, well, just a gamepad. Plus he stole 3 empty iPhone boxes. He's a genius I tell you!

I suppose it hasn't been all bad. I've had more time to play on my 3DS and play my old games. I beat Untold again on Classic Mode, and am working on another play-though of EO4 too, among other things. If the guy stole my 3DS, well, I'm pretty sure you guys would probably never see me logging on again.

Anyways, I'll try to visit more. Sorry if I came across as aggressive, I'm just not really happy about what's happened. I really missed you guys.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and all my osu! is gone too. My life is nothing now.
