All right. All right. I apologize for the double post and everything but I just have to share this with someone and my boyfriend didn't answer the phone.
I was just trapped by this old man for like 30 minutes while he talked to me about the most batshit crazy "I can't believe I'm hearing this" lunacy. Like I was biting the inside of my cheek to avoid giving myself away by laughing.
His concept was basically about the United States Democracy was a thing of evil, run by Jews and people of color, which he believed shouldn't have the right to vote. He also said women shouldn't have the right to vote. He was of the opinion that we were the "United States Republic of God" and that children were being brainwashed to believe in the Democracy, not the US as a Christian Nation.
He talked about FDR being a Jew and breaking this nation of its Christian morality and how Christians used to have all the power and kept everyone moral. He went on about the Illuminati and the International Elite and how they were all Jews. He called Soviet Russia the "Red Devil" that opposed "God, that is to say, America" and how Patton was right and we should have just invaded Russia at the end of WWII. He actually said, and I quote "I grew up in the cotton fields and we had the Negro. We had them and it wasn't anything derogatory, we had the Negro and sometimes the Nigger, and that's just what they were called. And they went to their Church on Sundays and we, the white men and women, went to our church. They went to their school and we went to ours. People say how segregation was so bad, but is it worse than what we have now? They had husbands and fathers and employment, not Hoods and socialism." He talked about how God is not Politically Correct and he had the right to call anybody else exactly what he wanted so long as he didn't lay a hand on them. He had an entire tangent about the Federal Reserve Bank and the IRS, all run by Jews you see. "In 1954 Lyndon Johnson with that little Jew wife of his added a line to the tax code that the Preacher couldn't be political in sermon" which, according to him, is how Christians lost the power to enforce morality. He talked about Christianity isn't an organized religion since it wasn't an "ism" like Judaism, Catholicism... "It's Christianity. The truth and way of God."
I didn't dare ask "Oh, like Islam?" for fear he'd try to tell me it was actually "Muslimism" or something.
Oh man the shit this man was saying I just couldn't believe I was hearing! There were just way to many nuggets of crazy to quote everything. I wished so badly for a tape recorder because this man was a fountain of "WTF"
After he started on the evils of the Jews he was like "And of course you're probably Jewish" and I was like "um, no..." and then just let him assume what he would. He said, "This being Oklahoma I assume you're a Christian. It's hard to grow up in Oklahoma and not find the true way" and I just stared at him.
I mostly wanted him to leave, so I didn't dare argue with the crazy. I didn't want to be like "Uh, sir, I'm a very liberal Atheist."
Man. I'm going to be remembering his crazy for a long time.
