They are.

The song is very... abstract and expressive, and open to interpretation. I think it is someone drinking to a friend, or lover, that is no longer present.

Ah, SD3. I should play that again some time.

While it amuses me to be listening to winter/ice themed music given the conditions around me, I find more humour when I am walking through the snow and a rather unfitting track plays in its place.
