Decade of my later teens/early twenties for me. I was quite a fan of AoB back then, even going so far as to import the N-American editions of some of their CDs because they had some tracks the European editions didn't. Well, it was cheaper to import anyway back then because CDs cost less in the USA than in the Netherlands, even with shipping included. Lol. I listened to the radio a lot back then, keeping track of top40/50 charts and so on.

Dio. Kicks. Ass. They just don't make metal like this anymore, folks. There's something beautifully primal about this, as opposed to the growling and screeching and speed and noise of the best metal acts today. God, I love it.

Sounds 70s/80s-ish British. Are you sure it is metal though? Sounds more like regular rock from that era to me.
