how dare you post a 60's song that is not representative of the turbulent zeitgeist of that decade

Screaming fangirl hordes are pretty turbulent.
Edit: I'm pretty sure that post was just an excuse to use zeitgeist in a sentence. :P

When I heard this song on Gurumin, I loved it for the reference to To Make the End of Battle (theme of Ys II), but this takes it to another level... The saxophone throughout the song just has that awesome feeling the little saxophone bit in the middle of Those Who Slay and Fall's arrangement gives.
When it comes to games, Atlus and Nihon Falcom get the top choices from me. XD

Then you're rather fortunate, as Yuzo Koshiro has worked for both Atlus and Falcom XD

Yes, I noticed that after noticing some similar things in the ovrall feel of the music. Namely in EOII's themes.
When I found out, I practically squeed. XD

Unlike most American Yuzo Koshiro fans, I prefer Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle 1 over 2.
Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle is also the first game I ever played with music by Yuzo Koshiro.
