I disagree, but I haven't had the opportunity to do the research I'd need to feel justified is arguing against Zamisk on the topic of comic books.

^ Superhero-universes are special, in any case. Manga are usually crossovers, aren't they? Cross Epoch and so on.
But many of those are ambiguous about worlds. Cross Epoch is a bad example, because nothing is like normal there.

I think Maxine is right, but it's probably a term used in multiple ways for different things by some, meanig Rey is right? To rephrase, I think that Max is correct in her usage of the word, but Rey is correct in the sense that people decide how language is used so the meaning changes to fit multiple ideas.
Kind of like how "literally" is includes "figuratively" in it's definition now.

^ More like, is it still a "sleepover" if you do it every night, and you keep your stuff there?

Ha ha ha. Well said, PLA.
It is is worth noting, though, that not all H2O is wet. Ice, for example, is pretty dry.

And to be clear, this is the dictionary definition of "literally" Zamisk is using here.

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads
-_- Already done with the last book in the Brotherband Chronicles. It felt too short, it was also not as good as the first or second books. It just didn't have the same Hal-problem-solver trickiness to it.
Still good, though.
.... Now... trying to decide what to read next in my list.
Either going to finish up that Terry Goodkind book or start on the Beyonders.
.... Though secretly I wanna purchase and read the shit out of the second Familiars book. >_< NOOO!! I wanna finish the books I have currently. ....
Auuu~
Awww, I need more Aldwyn in my life... *sigh*

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads
Unexpectedly my sister gave me a new book to read.
She has like 13 days to read this one book called The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks - I guess it's for her bio class or something. She procrastinated (dumby) and had issues with getting it. She was talking to me about it today and I became quite interested in it. ^_^ So to encourage her (and provide some future help) I'm going to read it along with her. I've got a library copy downloaded onto my nook. ~_^ I know I can read it in like four days if I applied my willpower. I wonder if she'll manage to finish it in her two weeks.
*Goes off to do some reading*

Cory Docotorow books are the best books. Trifkin, back me up here.
But seriously this sequel to Little Brother is top-notch. I feel like I'm drowning in awesome cultures that I have never heard of but actually exist.
