called a parenthesis

YOU DON'T HAVE TO CLICK IT AND AREN'T AFRAID TO BECAUSE YOU DON'T THINK IT IS A SPOILER

If it's a spoiler I actually say so (including where/what it's spoiling). I get wordy and if I just put everything within parenthesis then my posts (or sentences) would be bloated to all hell.

Sorry my use of spoiler tags frightens you to read my posts.

Anyway, I mark my spoilers with a blurb right above it (like, sitting on the spoiler box) of what is inside. If it's just sitting there, it's probably not a spoiler and just me tagging something.

Honestly, you know... READ WHAT THE BOX SAYS:

"Click here to see the hidden message (It might contain spoilers)"

.... It doesn't say it is ONLY a spoiler tag. Just says it MIGHT contain spoilers. So whatever you guys use it for is up to you. Scy is perfectly fine. And I've never had a problem with it. ^_^; I've never even paid attention.

I also use it because it makes me feel better about myself.

Edit: I'm used to GAF and other forums where [ spoiler ] is a "highlight to see" kind of thing so a lot of snide/sardonic comments are there (or smileys). Those I'm used to using instead of parenthesis for little "oh and this" things. Possibly.

Who knows, cares, etc. it's like early and...I dunno.

*needs to get back to playing Devil Summoner 2 to finish before inFamous comes in Tuesday T.T*

Maybe you/Archaic could create a copy of the spoiler tag that instead of "might be spoiling" says something like "as an aside.." or "by the way.."?

This isn't a script we wrote, though. It's just a quick add-on we snagged off the official site. And I don't see the point to doing so if - particularly when people should clearly mark their spoils anyway.
