I finished It today. It got even better toward the end...
At any rate, upon reading the book, I am sure of three things:
1. I hate spiders even more now.
2. Balloons may seem adorable and squishy at first, but deep down they're evil.
3. Bev was a whore (kinda).
Temple of the Winds continues to endear me to the Sword of Truth series <3
Mid-book spoiler chat
I'm SO fuggin' worried that Drefan is the murderer, but now that it's focusing on him more with the first appearance of the illness, I'm growing less and less suspicious of him now and leaning more towards that one adviser being the killer. I REALLY want to like him <3 And Richard really does too!!
And Nadine: GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM RICHARD YOU DAMN BITCH!! I pitied you at first, but now I am with Kahlan - SEND HER BACK HOME!!
You know, though, I thought I liked the interaction between Richard the Mord-Sith, but I'm enjoying the conversations between Kahlan and Cara SO much.

I was so sad when Cara told her backstory of being captured.
Oh and... I SO wish I could an actual image of these three Mord-Sith playing with chipmunks. XD
Caije:
I recommend the first four books. If you're truly die hard you can read the whole series, but they take a huge dive down into the suck after Temple of the Winds.
(exception: Faith of the Fallen, even though Richard's proselytizing reaches unbearable limits. And you have to get through Soul of the Fire first, and it's immediately followed by the weakest book in the series, Pillars of Creation... so yeah there's no real redemption after Book 4)

Thanks Kino. I'll probably pick up the first one on my lunch break today.

Let us know what you think! Maxine is bravely charging through them at a respectable rate and I believe noodles has read the first two.
I started reading the series right after the 5th book came out, way back when I was jr High. The last book, number 13 I believe, came out just a year back or so.

I used to have reading time ALL THE TIME when I had
a) No internet
b) No friends

That does usually equal out to a lot of time. Or a lot of sleep. Either one.
